Product Hunt Twitter - Get Product Hunt stats right on your Twitter timeline.

Whenever a new product is posted PH Twitter extension will automatically find the details and add a small non-intrusive box on the side/below of the tweet letting you know more about the product.

Hello Product Hunt! Most of my time over at Twitter is spent finding new products shared by Product Hunt or by other makers/hunters such as Chris Messina, Kevin, Jake, Ryan or Nik vimal but what I always missed was to have some stats that I could get beforehand whenever a new product is shared/posted which lets me know more about the product and how much traction it is getting. With this tool which I have been using for a while now made me want to know more about the product by going to it's PH page than ever before. Whenever a new product is posted extension will automatically find the details and add a small non-intrusive box on the side/below of the tweet letting you know more about the product. Here's what the box contains: šŸ’Æ or ā¬†ļø (changes on no. of votes) tells you the total votes the particular product got at the time you're seeing it. āœ shows the total comments. āœ”ļø or āŒ shows whether the Product has been featured or not. šŸ‘Øā€šŸ‘Øā€šŸ‘¦ā€šŸ‘¦ shows how many makers are there. and finally, šŸ† includes a link to the hunter's twitter profile. "Product Hunt Twitter" also includes 3 different styles which are Basic, Product Hunt and Box. While the plugin is still in BETA I do think some bugs might occur which I will fix accordingly. So, don't worry about that. I hope you all like this tool, find it useful and as always If you have any feedback please comment it below. Thanks! 😺

What a great idea šŸ™€ Congrats on making it šŸ‘ How often does it update? Because I've seen some products that have no hunter / maker identified yet on twitter when using the extension while they are identified on producthunt.com
Rahul Kapoor
@matthieudeluze thanks and yes it takes some time to update for new products if that's what you are asking as it depends on the Product Hunt API.
Matthieu de Luze
@iamrahulkapoor OK, so you've made it in order to be continuously updated but it depends on how fast is the synchro between Product Hunt API and your service, right?

Awesome, any plans for safari?
Rahul Kapoor
@tnsrig Yes. I will work on it and launch for safari as soon as possible.

Great idea! Quick bug I just found...after installing the extension, if you right-click on the extension in the menu bar and click "Product Hunt Twitter" that link sends you to a different repo on Github and not the 'PH-Twitter' repo.

@john_m_egan yeah. I fixed it. thanks.
