Primer Library - The best digital learning resources for homeschooling.

Glad to be on ProductHunt today! We'll have more to share on what we're building at Primer soon, but in the mean time we wanted to try to help the millions of families who are navigating homeschooling for the first time due to COVID-19 school closures. We created the Primer Library to give parents easy access to a collection of the best educational resources (videos / games / apps / podcasts / etc.) from around the web. If you have any ideas of things we should include, you can submit them here: www.withprimer.com/submit We also created a simple tool for parents navigating homeschool regulations in their city called Primer Navigator. Super excited about what the Primer team is building here. Arming parents who are navigating homeschool for the first time with these tools is super relevant and top-of-mind right now but is just the beginning. Very bullish on the mission of building an education experience for kids personalized for their unique abilities and would love for my 2-year-old daughter take advantage of something like this when she's a bit older.

Fantastic resource at a time when parents will need it most— facing unprecedented uncertainty on how to ensure their kids continue to learn and be creative without the traditional structure many are used to. This current crisis really forces parents to actively think about how their kids learn and the best resources by which to enable that. Kudos Primer team.

Really excited about this! Going to save a lot of parents a lot of time and effort as everyone makes a foray into homeschooling at the moment. Really love what the team at Primer have put together! 1. The Library is packed with content and I’m excited to watch it grow as people continue to add material. I highly recommend two of their callouts for older students: 3Blue1Brown and Marginal Revolution University. 2. The Navigator is very clearly comprehensive and serves as a great foundation even just for people curious about the homeschooling space. I’m looking forward to Primer continuing to guide parents here, many things to come I’m sure. I think its awesome that it segments learning experiences by medium (e.g. video, app, game, etc.).

The Primer library is the first in what I expect will be many products and ideas that will change how we think about homeschooling. Ryan is not only a brilliant operator, but he has personal experience with what homeschooling is, as well as inspiring ideas about what it could be.

Perfect timing for these resources! So many people are rethinking what education looks like for their kids right now and I’m excited for what’s to come from the Primer team.

Excited for there to be a raised bar on the homeschooling front! Learning independently while learning together and allowing the cream to rise to the crop material wise is a no brainer way to help the next generation have access to better tools than we did. Go Primer crew!
