We’ve been chipping away at our builder community, Posts, for the past little while and are super excited to officially announce its release in the app store today! Your first question may be why did Read.cv decide to build a Twitter/X clone? The answer to this is twofold. If you’re unfamiliar, Read.cv is a professional network designed to help you find new opportunities or your next great hire. To achieve this goal we felt it was important to build a more casual social environment for people to connect and build relationships together. We believe less transactional environments can be the best first step in forming a professional relationship—sort of like a pub or cafe. As Twitter/X has began emphasizing their ‘for you page’ over the people you follow, people are increasingly incentivized to share outrage bait or viral content. In this world we believe there’s space for more niche communities to connect real people with shared interests and goals. i've been using posts.cv for a while - it is, hands down, one of the best community platforms imo. an excellent place to engage with cool folks and discover great content. the functionality and design are superb as well.

Been using for nearly a year now. Easily the best social community app for designers. I love what Andy Chung is building. Perfect time for this to finally be released so I can tell even more friends about it and get them off X!

Been on Posts for a while, it's a wonderful community with good vibes all around. Great alternative or supplement to the craziness of Twitter. I appreciate how not all posts are about building too, but just capturing moments from the day. Feels cozy and authentic.

This is just such a lovely and calm app. The activity is still lack-luster but I really think it could become the professional network for creatives. Could do better without the "hey look what I ate today"-posts, though
