We've been using Plyfe at Abu Dhabi Media (holding co across dozen + broadcast and publishing brands) to power micro experiences to activate our events and broadcast TV shows.
The builders are easy to use (our marketing staff does it), the audience totally gets it, and we are getting great engagement across our published "cards".
Important note: we are a difficult client. Our requirements around language (Arabic) needed accommodation on the development front and Jeff's team was sensitive to our Sunday - Thursday GMT +4 operating hours.
Can't recommend these guys enough.
I remember talking to Jeff about the this release a while ago and now seeing it live is better than I had even imagined! Beautiful design. Way to go guys.
@sarajnwalker Thanks! We're always looking for agencies to work with. Customers use Plyfe cards across all of their digital streams; Owned web and mobile assets, social pages, email, and distribute as rich media with the ad server of their choice. We are starting to do a ton of native advertising, customers integrating Plyfe cards into their sponsored content.
Big fan! Used Plyfe for a campaign with my startup in conjunction with a major film studio. Generated a ton of audience engagement. Was a great interactive experience to add to a typically more generic marketing campaign. We absolutely loved it. Also, incredible team. Check this one out for sure!
Built by a team of mensches? I know of at least one on the team and he's built this company with the entirety of his heart and being. What's changed over the last few years at plyfe? What worked and what didn't?
@shane_112 Hi Shane - Great questions. The Plyfe Platform was built by a team almost entirely from New York with a few Canadians, always good to have a few Canadians in the mix. We've been lucky enough to have some great minds and strong hearts help build Plyfe.
The vision of Plyfe (Play Life) has always been to make the time we spend in digital more fun and interactive. Plyfe 1.0 was mostly promotion based (do x,y, and z and we'll "unlock" something) and we realized that people were more interested in interacting/participating in the content then they were in trying to win a sweeps so we unbundled the interactions (Card types) so that anyone can add layers of interactive experiences to their blogs, web/mobile sites, social channels, email, and Plyfe cards can be distributed by an rich media ad server.

We built Plyfe because we all live in a digital world but you have to be an engineer to build interactive experiences. We believe interactivity creates a dialogue between audiences and content.
