Hey Hunters,
I'm Hyong from Plask. I'm excited to share Plask with you on the release day!
My friends and I made Plask to enable anyone to digitize their movements and animate them in a matter of seconds with just a laptop.
The idea for Plask came around when we realized that many people don't have access to the motion capture technology due to its cost and difficulty - anyone should be able to express their movements digitally!
We're planning to add the collaboration, library, NFT, and marketplace features so animators worldwide can create and monetize beautiful works of art.
I hope you like Plask. I'm happy to answer any questions and receive feedback!
Thanks,
Hyong
Congratulations on the release! Great idea. What will be the commercial selling point? You mention animation, will Plask become an easier way to produce cartooning for instance?
Congrats. Very interesting motion application. Do you have a library pre-populated with some of the models? Looking for stuff I can repurpose for an easy win in the platform. Also can we upload files and have those transformed?
I created a short animation video, and it took so long for me to figure out the motion part. If you want to get started with animation, then stop motion is definitely the best to try first. Use a webcam, any will do, and download one of many free animation software and just try it out. Look for inspiration or help on different sites. Personally, I use this one forgehub.net. Don't anticipate to be excellent or pick it up straight away. It took me years before I could even call myself 'mid.' After that, you can test with other things, like cut-out or the computer-based animation types, but stop motion is the most hands-on and easiest way to get into it.
