Hey, Product Hunt. Thank you so much, Murat, for hunting us! Planable co-founder here. We started Planable out of our own need for better social media collaboration. Every single social media project we were ever involved was complete chaos in terms of collaboration. We were using spreadsheets for social media content review, PowerPoints for showcasing content to clients, Dropbox or G Drive for transferring files, fake Facebook pages for previewing content, Buffer or Hootsuite for scheduling it once it was approved. This mishmash of tools was confusing. Feedback was scattered across back and forth emails. And the exercise of imagining how a carousel or link post is going to look like after publishing on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or LinkedIn was simply frustrating. We think great social content is created by teams who are aligned and we help them easily do that. We built Planable to bring team members, clients and social content on the same page for better, faster brand storytelling. Once you check it, you'll realize how simple the app is. As of now with Planable you can have: - Your social content in the same place, perfectly organized and visually rich - Preview the content exactly like it would look after publishing so no misunderstandings can happen - Feedback exchange and real-time iteration - Approvals, with one single click, dead simple - Schedule, to all your social pages Would love to hear your thoughts! P.S. We’re offering 3 months free for our favorite PH supporters with promo code - PlanablePH

@ryan_severus_chin 😍 love your thoughts!

Great idea, well designed user experience. I like the whole approach and can't wait to use it to manage one of our own products. Kudos to you! πŸŽ‰
Vlad Calus
@preist thank you for all the support, man!
James Qualtrough

I've used this for some time and love the platform. It's simple to use and has been expanded to cover all the main social channels we manage for clients.

Pros:

Great system and perfect for sharing with clients before publishing content on social channels.

Cons:

None so far.

Vlad Calus
Hey, James! Great to see your review! Thank you for being with us for the past year, you are the best!
Arun
One year? How long has this product been available for?
Emily Hodgins
Hi @xeniamuntean, @vladcalus & @nick_gudumac what are some of the most unique features of Planable that we should we check out?
Vlad Calus
Hey, @ems_hodge, great question! Lots of social media managers wonder how their posts will look like when it will be published on social media. It's exactly why we started building a platform that looks visually the same, to give you the exact feel of the social feed - literally, like your timeline on Fb, Tw, Insta or LinkedIn. We call it MarvelApp of Social Media, where you can plan and be 100% sure that posts are perfectly done. I'm really curious what you think, please share us your thoughts!
Arun
@ems_hodge @vladcalus This answers my previous comment https://goo.gl/cyFGP8 But, IMHO, no one really wants to have a MarvelApp for social publishing. Bring out a cool UI like Buffer, and I would be a happy premium customer.
Rizki Aditya
@arunsathiya just curious, why do you think it has poor UI?

If you are one of the 65 million people with a Facebook page for your business or you are managing some of them, Planable is a must-know online tool for managing your social media channels and keep in touch with the client as well.

Even though for many businesses, managing a social media page is like a daunting task and they hire an agency, most of the times the feedback is still needed: to make sure that their identity is there or just to keep an eye on the timeline. Planable managed to merge the perfect UI/UX with the content management and the client feedback in a very easy to use manner and the whole process is way more efficient and fast.

Pros:

The best way to keep in touch with your client and to organise your content!

You need to know it if you're a social media manager/agency!

Cons:

No cons for now.

Mihai Silviu Istrate
Very simple to use and good product. I think it can be improved if you are allowed to have more social accounts in the same time.
Vlad Calus
Hey, @silviuistrate! You can have as many social accounts as you want - add multiple pages in the same workspace and collaborate on all of them. Let me know if you have any questions, I'd love to help.
Marina Sheremet
It's really intuitive and easy to use. Keep up! But here is small thing to improve. This planner will be deferentially one of the greatest if you add an option to create posts in multiple languages.
Vlad Calus
Hey, @marisheshke! Amazing suggestion. We already have it on our Roadmap and plan to implement it soon!
Valentina Milanova
Such a great tool - finally one product to combine everything you need to plan and post across a variety of social media channels!
Vlad Calus
@valentina_milanova you are the best! Thank you for your feedback!
Nicoleta Domnicu

I was given access to and tested Planable for a few days. I enjoyed it a lot, and it's a pity that such a great tool wasn't available back in the days when I worked in marketing. If I were, I would definitely use it.

Pros:

You can visualize how your posts will look directly on the targeted platform, and make the necessary adjustments.

Cons:

It's not as widely known and used. It deserves more.

Helen Statham
Agree with your cons - I've been telling everyone about it since I started using it.
Vlad Calus
@_helenstatham you are the best! Thank you for mentioning that!
Razvan Gavrilas
Quick feedback: on the site it's not clear what this does exactly and how. I would also add a features page for people who dig into these πŸ˜‰
Vlad Calus
Hey, @razvan_gavrilas! I'll definitely make sure we do some changes really soon! Thank you.
Arun
@razvan_gavrilas Would say the same. Very poor UI and does not have keyboard shortcuts at the basic level.
Vlad Calus
@razvan_gavrilas @arunsathiya we will definitely make sure to introduce keyboard shortcuts in the future!
Arun

I like two features: inviting teammates to approve posts and suggest edits, saving posts to public Facebook and Twitter pages that I do not own, so that these can be chosen to be published or not by the page's owner on their Planable account.

Pros:

Love their generous free-tier. Too good to be true.

Cons:

Bad UI and needs to be improved. No one wants a MarvelApp for social publishing. I need a Buffer-like UI here. No keyboard shortcuts.

Just digging into Planable, but already sold on it for client use. In a startup where everyone is contributing content, this will take away some anxiety from the process (for the n00bs) & make oversight easier.
Vlad Calus
@kkdub and approving so much easier, in one single click!
Sooraj Chandran
This is definitely going to be useful for me!
Sooraj Chandran
Signed up, added all my pages. This is really wonderful. Especialy the prospect uploading photos directly from desktop is going to be enormously useful for photographers. One minor feedback - After adding a page/account, I was waiting for it to appear, but I had to go again and click on connect for it to be connected. Just a minor UX issue I wanted to point out. Great work!
Nicu Gudumac
@iamsooraj Hey Sooraj! Thanks for pointing out the UX issue, we will improve this by auto-connecting twitter and instagram profiles!
Agata Kukwa
Using it from the early begging. Most useful social media tool if u need to have your posts reviewed and approved by other team members.
Xenia Muntean
@boskaagatka thank you so much for supporting us!
Rick Kats
nice UX, cool product!
Xenia Muntean
@rickats woop woop thank you!
Cristian Dan
Cool product, congrats for the hunt guys!
Vlad Calus
@cristiandan thank you!
Melissa Goldberg
I'm interested to give this a try. I'm currently using HeyOrca, and while the planable price is definitely better it seems at this stage the HeyOrca platform is more built-out. I'm excited to see where planable goes from here.
Vlad Calus
@melissagoblue lovely! Let me know in a few days what do you think of Planable. I'm excited to know your thoughts!
Ryan McMillan
I've worked in social media previously. We were using google slides and sheets, so we had the combined edit, but you have no idea how much of a hasstle it still was. Love the fact that it puts everything in context. I think a lot of brands don't realise how it would look. How do you make sure the right person approves the post? And when you say schedule, is that with another tool or embedded inside Planable?
Nicu Gudumac
@rhmcmillan Hey Ryan! We understand your struggles, thats precisely why we are building Planable. In Planable you can assign approver roles, and they can approve the content with one click (and you can track who approved and when). We schedule and publish the posts through our app, we might consider other ways to publish through third party integrations.
Larissa Davidova
Amazing social media marketing tool for both small and large teams. I've tried it and I must say that the ability to preview posts just as they appear in the social network, and the intuitive UI make it worth using even as for an individual non-marketer like me ;)
Vlad Calus
@larissa_davidova thank you, Larissa!
