@ankit_sparks It sure can! You can use FaceID on your iPhone and TouchID on your mac to login with the same user.

You can authenticate on any platform / OS (IOS, Android, Windows, MacOS, Linux), including smart TV, desktops, mobiles, and tablets... using your mobile device. With the latest iOS, Apple users get their passkeys synchronised on all devices through their iCloud account.

The phone is an extension of our body (like it or not..) so if we carry it with us all day long then it's time we use it to help us identify in an easy and secure way online. OwnID does it!!

Aren't passkeys not limited to only Apple devices?! I recall that companies like Google and Microsoft are also making things that work in the way Apple showcased their software (as they are all in the FIDO alliance). ?makers

@xansurnamehere you're right, but the 3 giants couldn't find a way to collaborate on this (they are using the same standard but there are other misalignments). Also, Google and MSFT are still in the talking phase. Only Apple released it.
