Outdone - AI powered gift recommendations

Special occasions are stressful. Outdone's Ai-powered gift recommender gives you one less thing to worry about.
For now, Outdone's engine recommends apparel brands, but we plan to expand into other gift categories and drive users to specific products soon!

Does the product have a reminder system? I've always thought that it would be a great idea to have a calendar integration, when a birthday/event is coming up, you are reminded in advance and prompted with gift ideas that are relevant to the likes/interests of that person.
Hugh Lagrotteria
@ian_rumpp Great feedback, Ian! This is definitely something we've considered in the past, but not a current capability of ours. To take it a step further, we've thought about incorporating user accounts, so you can sign in and save family members you typically shop for, set reminders, etc.. We're not quite at the type of scale to build in this functionality, but it's certainly something we think can add value for our users down the road!
Ian Rumpp
@hugh_lagrotteria That's great! I think people would love it, I know I would, I'm the worst at remembering all that stuff.
Hugh Lagrotteria
@ian_rumpp Absolutely! You have to actually remember the birthday before you can even start stressing over what to buy!

So smart. What an incredible solution for (what can be) a stressful task. Can't wait to try this out on my notoriously difficult to shop for in-laws.
Jonathan Nass
@adrake thanks for the kind words, Adam! Certainly everyone can relate to the problem we’re trying to solve — now it’s just a matter of improving our execution. Let us know if you have any feedback!
ishara dasuni

Wow this is super cool.

@namtran_wd Thanks so much — we think so too! 🤠 But we know it has room for improvement, so let us know what features you'd love to see.

It would have been much better if there's an option to SKIP the question. Sometimes people don't really fit into a Yes or No question. Cool concept & product.
Jonathan Nass
@sravanth_kumar_ Interesting point! Definitely something we can look to roll out. Our goal was to make sure we received enough data on each person to accurately recommend gifts. But you're making a totally fair point. Thanks for checking it out!
Hugh Lagrotteria
@sravanth_kumar_ Helpful feedback, thank you! Certainly something we'll keep in mind for our next updates to the survey flow.
