If this integrated with Asana it would be perfect.

We built this utility for us.... Didn't found any other apps really helping you to focus on one task at a time.

Feels like it's not yet ready for showtime. bought it. tried it. crashed. got stuck. tried to play a notification sound from the web (who does that??) Went back to the store to get my money back. maybe next time. Great idea. but we all know that ideas are cheap... it's the other 99%

Great hunt @jberrebi . Its always annoyed me that on a mac you cant give different desktops (when swiping) a different title grouped around an actionable so have been waiting for a little app like this to solve that problem!

@jberrebi I tried signing up but since I'm in the UK apple store I cant purchase sadly. Any chance adding this to the UK store?

@jasondainter The app is available from everywhere. Did you tried to download it from the Mac App Store?
Jason Dainter
@jberrebi ah yes. I tried it on my macbook and it worked fine, so it was probably a local account issue (I had been messing with the country location a bit so it's probably my end). I'm going to test this out today, heres to a more productive day :-)

Bought it, tried it, liked the idea but I agree the execution value proposition isn't strong enough for this to make it into the list of apps I use religiously. My feedback was: 1) Also agree there were bugs that needed ironing out. The little 'bar' area often was glitchy. 2) It could be more 'beautiful' looking for a paid app. Its perhaps somewhat irrelevant what it looks like if it gets the job done but generally I felt the thing looked a bit ugly sitting up there on my nice sexy 27 inch imac. I think beauty matters with this kind of stuff. The colours/fonts/spacing is a bit rough on the eyes. 3) I couldn't delete tasks when i put one in then changed my mind after doing so, spent some time trying to figure that out then ended up marking complete (which felt like cheating!). 4) I wanted the thing to be docked at the top, but there it gets in the way of the normal mac icons (like spotlight search and so on). If you hover, you can still get to those icons, but it adds a delay. it would be better if it sat just below the main toolbar, or when hovering would disappear or hide faster or immediately to avoid that delay (it annoyed me enough to probably not use it). 5) I use existing todo tools (trello) and no doubt most people do use some form of tool for this already, so having a duplicated list that sat on top of that tool was a turn off. If this tool integrated into trello, let me select which trello card I was working on, (and even better, auto posted it to my team in our hipchat room), I would probably pay 10x the price to use that and if the fee was low enough would probably pay an ongoing subscription fee for that. I feel thats a massive pain point when using trello/hipchat that the team can get sloppy at moving cards into the 'working on' column so thats a nice way to encourage that (whilst encouraging only working on one task at a time to keep some sanity). Hope the feedback helps @jberrebi

Thanks a lot @jasondainter Let us discuss about it and will keep you updated! We integrated Zapier to be able to synchronize with others todo tools but they wants 10 beta testers to approve us. We have thousands of users but still haven't found the 10 beta testers for it ;-) If you are interested, you can contact support@onetask.com

@onetask @jberrebi sorry I missed this but absolutely keen on being a beta tester for this
