Hello friends! I made this product to scratch my own itch: I wanted a simple web app for OKRs (objectives and key results). Since launching in beta, nearly 100 users have started using it organically, so I figured I should post it here on ProductHunt. I use OKRs.app for personal goals, my businesses, side projects, and just about anything that could benefit from having clear goals. It's really built for anyone, but might be especially suitable for: - Freelancers - Startups - Makers I would love to hear your feedback! Thanks for checking it out πŸ™ P.s. I also created this page where you can learn more about OKRs: https://learn.okrs.app

Hey Alex. I'd love to see a couple additional screenshots on the page besides the demo gif. Thanks for making this!
Alex Svanevik
@scottrepreneur Hey Scott, I'll post some more screenshots later this week - thanks for the suggestion!

@asvanevik I like this a lot! I just wrote a post about how I set my goals (https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/m...) and I have been using everyday to track habits. But maybe I'll try this out :). Looks very much in-line with how I track goals!

@asvanevik How are you guys currently collecting user feedback? I'd love to talk to someone within your startup about that workflow!
Alex Svanevik
@mareddyjai Hey Jai! For now feel free to just ping me on Twitter: @asvanevik

Looks great and useful -- but doesn't seem mobile friendly. Any plans to improve that?
Alex Svanevik
@chrismessina Thanks! Yeah, it's pretty bad on mobile right now. The plan is to create a mobile version which is optimized for checking-in, and less focused on reviewing the full stack of OKRs. What do you think about that approach? Or would you rather do the full OKR cycle on mobile?
Ellen Choi
Cool! Can you elaborate how this is different than just tracking it on the spreadsheet? The product gif didn't offer enough details for me to figure this out...
Alex Svanevik
@lnchoi Sure! I switched from an OKR spreadsheet myself to OKRs.app - as did many of our users. Some features: - weekly reminders - invite an OKR buddy - "magic tool" to help first-timers set OKRs - linking to other data sources (a spreadsheet, another dashboard, etc) Would love to hear your feedback if you try it out! Feel free to send me a message in the app.

Well done! Going to give it a go this year.
Alex Svanevik
@francescoagosti Great man! Let me know how it goes :)

Let me know if you need help designing the mobile interface, love the concept! Could definitely see this being used in marketing agencies with clients regarding their OKRs.
Alex Svanevik
@thetwosents Definitely keen on discussing this! Feel free to DM me on Twitter: @asvanevik

Exactly what I wished I had when introducing the concept of OKRs to our team :) btw awesome site at https://learn.okrs.app/ too... was that custom or did you use something to generate it? Looking to create something similar
Alex Svanevik
@ryanpatrick323 Thanks Ryan! I used MkDocs with the Material theme for the learning section: https://github.com/squidfunk/mkd...

Awesome! This is super cool! I'm based in HK as well and would love to be involved if you have need for a UX/UI Designer 😎

I've been teaching okrs and I love how you've simplified the process and ui. I also set up a buddy system but it was way more hacky than what you have. Top notch examples too. Reach out if you want help in developing the content a bit more. I'll start recommending it!
Alex Svanevik
@maiga Thanks so much Magdalena! Really appreciate the kind words. Feel free to ping me on Twitter and we can continue the conversation there: @asvanevik
Mika Bauer
Well done, i am going to try it this year :)
Gaurabh Mathure
Great simplification of OKRs @asvanevik! You've made them very approachable. Do you plan to keep it free or start charging for it at any point in time?
Alex Svanevik
@gaurabhmathure Thanks Gaurabh! The current version of the app will stay free. I will likely ship a premium or teams version of the app later this year.
Gaurabh Mathure
@asvanevik Appreciate it. Have tried to integrate OKRs into my toolkit but haven't been able to so far because it always felt a little too forced. I'm going to try it again with your platform.

Our OKR process works with company and team objectives (followed by key results). Do you plan to introduce this as well? Example: A company might have a KR to increase ad revenue by 50k and my product team might help here by adding two features to the app + the communication team could market those.
Alex Svanevik
@anatolkorel Great question. We are aiming to ship a Teams version later this year. Linking OKRs would be one feature included here.

OKRs.app: Hey OKRaspirational reader - Congratulations for getting to a stage for considering a robust OKR solution. About 35% of OKR practicing firms operate OKRs manually, over lists & excels – the penny wise, pound foolish approach definitely trade-offs with the productivity gains from OKR methodology. Congrats for being in transition to the other 65% to realize higher value-adds from OKRs From our experience of leveraging several OKR solutions, hand-holding several #highperformance organizations to develop #OKRpractices, here is critical info that will help OKR practising organizations immensely. We continue to see at least 2 prominent trends for organizations aspiring to go the #OKRway: a) Far too many organization fail long before they get started; b) Secondly, there is a difference between being #OKRReady & being #OKRChampion. These organizations fall short before ever reaching the level of maturity where their organization is fully aligned and transparent, accomplishing their goals with a collaborative, cross-functional approach. That's what led to development of OKR Capability Maturity Index (https://thebrew.in/okr-capabilit...), objectively gauging across 10 elemental dimensions of OKR methodology, it helps leaders & organizations ascertain critical gaps to reach program maturity, realizing the fullest potential of #organizationaldevelopment. #measurewhatmatters Get every bit of your ROI & organizational value, through transformational #OKR journey, leveraging The Brew’s OKR Capability Maturity Index (https://thebrew.in/okr-capabilit...).
