Hi everyone! We're Dan, Oscar, and George. While I spent my career building developer APIs, Oscar's been building state of the art machine learning systems, and George an ultra-high-scale cloud computing platform. We combined those disciplines to create an easy-to-use, fast, and state of the art custom machine learning API. Nyckel hides all the complexity of machine learning so you can add intelligence to your product without hiring ML engineers and without messing with a constellation of ML infrastructure. Just give Nyckel a few examples of what behavior you want, and it'll take it from there! Give it more examples to make it smarter. It's also VERY fast. You can easily have your model trained in under 5 minutes, including the time to upload and annotate. For example, you can: * Curate your forum by showing it examples of appropriate and inappropriate posts * Categorize product photos based on your needs: which room of a house, which angle of a car, inside vs. outside, etc * Predict whether a customer is likely to convert to paid based on their usage behavior And those just off the top of my head - our customers have all sorts of creative uses for Nyckel! We built Nyckel because ML is still a time-consuming and complex task and for many companies that means they're not able to take advantage of the magical experiences AI can enable. Looking forward to hearing what you think!

Looks awesome! Two questions 1) Do you support training with rectangles to identify things in images and 2) Have you guys thought about offline support or something that can be embedded in mobile apps?
George Mathew
@billychasen - We have a private beta for identifying things in images with bounding boxes (called "object detection" in ML lingo). We are considering support for "model export" that would allow offline scenarios. Part of our value proposition is that the model improves over time as you add more data - so the exported model would support periodic updates to get the latest and and greatest.

@frantzlight Thank you Chris!

Nyckel looks incredibly cool! I find it amazing just how many tools are empowering single devs to do work that would previously have required a whole specialised team. I think it's amazing that Nyckel makes creating and deploying machine learning models as easy as sending a text with Twilio!

@saarasmehan Thank you Saaras! Our goal is exactly that - empowering devs to do more.
