what do you think @DavidSpinks?
David Spinks
@eriktorenberg I'm curious how it's different from thunderclap?
Joe Conte
@DavidSpinks @eriktorenberg curious about that too. Thunderclap has definitely made a mark in the advocacy space; have you seen them used much commercial applications ?
Anuj Adhiya
So how is this different from what Thunderclap does?
Stef Gallé
@AnujAdhiya With Thunderclap campaigns you try to create a big wave of the same tweets and Facebook posts. With Nouncy you build a network of ambassadors by doing multiple campaigns. It doesn't matter how large the group of ambassadors is in your campaign, the goal is to let people speak for you in their own tone of voice. The difference will get clearer with the features we'll be adding in the coming months.

What sort of scale do you need for a "blast" to have more of an effect than people posting as they wish? I feel like it would need to be well over 10,000 accounts for any meaningful difference to warrant this approach?
Stef Gallé
@taykcrane The goal of the app is to let people speak for you on social media, not to create the biggest blast possible. With every campaign you will expand your network of ambassadors. This will become clearer with the features we will add in the coming months.

How does this compare to Dynamic Signal (http://dynamicsignal.com)? It looks like a lightweight way to work with brand ambassadors.

Looks good but I can't read anything, apparently Google Chrome on Windows is not supported.

@_jamesmundy I have a hard time reproducing this problem. Does the problem occur in other browsers?
James Mundy
@timmolendijk Google Chrome on my home pc too. Running Chrome for Windows 8. I get taken to this page http://new.nouncy.com/#/

@_jamesmundy Strange. Could you perhaps send me a screenshot on tim at nouncy dot com? Greatly appreciated, thanks!

So I signed up to promote my new app. My first suggestion would be to have some kind of better way to share the URL besides copy pasting it into various apps. At least provide a "Share" button that I can use to post to Twitter and Facebook. Also, I'd suggest smaller URLs. http://jmitch.nouncy.com/gazzet-... is a beast. Even after changing the name of the campaign, that URL can't get any shorter. My final note would be "What's the advantage of doing this, vs just asking my friends to promote the app?"
Stef Gallé
@itsthisjustin Thanks for the great feedback! Advantages of Nouncy versus just asking people to promote your app are: - Seeing other people that already helped on the campaign page is a strong incentive for others to help out too. - All your ambassadors use the same link and the right hashtags. - You will be able to track how much traffic each post generated for you. - You can ask people to schedule a post before you launch your new feature.

Love this idea as a Customer Success Evangelist.

@timmolendijk me and you think alike. I'm actually working a similar flavor of this. Maybe we should connect :)

Sounds very interesting. Will definitely give it a try for the next product launch.

@emieljanson @stefgalle - please see the RiteTag API - https://ritetag.com/rest-api You suggest to users to add hashtags for links to promote. Your users will want them graded for chance of reaching audiences. That's what we provide - and you get both color-grading and also associated hashtags pull-down with one API call. osakasaul@gmail.com for more ideas.
