I seriously can't tell if this is going to amount to anything... it's like a bunch of VICE journalists starting their own OnlyFans built on @Ghost (which is incidentally very cool) but like... $20 out the gate? That seems like a tough sell.
Then again, few founders have actually been to the front lines of actual war...

@anaid it's also kind of like... an app-based magazine? I suppose instead of OnlyFans, maybe Substack is a better comparison, but even then, you pay one fee and get access to everything, so maybe more like @every?

@chrismessina I can imagine a treacherous path to clickbaiting and sensationalism to make the fee palatable. But can also see an experience a la Reddit, where content becomes more credible from the frontline.

that's where all the jobs are going towards - individual performers, gig economy. something we are going to see more of with the advent of ai and small team. personally i think this is great for journalists and brands that want to connect.
