Find the perfect time across multiple time zones. We have our coworkers, family and friends distributed across the globe. Knowing what time overlaps can get tricky. We created Nomad Time to have a simple, fast and delightful experience.
Save it to your home screen in your phone, for a pretty cool and fast native-like experience, or use it in the web.
We might be adding a tray-icon version in the near future π
Incredibly useful given my increased collaboration with international colleagues! A few edits I'd like to see:
1. Ability to toggle between 24-hour and 12-hour clock: I admit the 24-hour clock is much more practical and intuitive, especially for an app like this. My simple, American mind, however, is so used to 12-hour clocks that having the option to use the app in either format would be nice. Obviously, clear labeling of AM/PM would be crucial for the 12-hour clock.
2. Ability to input the timezone of any city: Not sure if this is possible, but it would be nice to search for cities that aren't part of the standard list of timezones, since I don't have that list memorized. For example, I think of US PST based on my time of Seattle, but searching for Seattle doesn't usually work, since the standard timezone is labeled as Los Angeles (or another Californian city).
A useful, yet uncomplicated, app for sure!
@brian_chou thanks for the feedback!
Yeap, for 1 we are going to be working on it soonish, as in this week or next one.
For Number 2 we have some ideas but it will require requesting cities data outside of our current, small, database of time zones, but is in the pipeline of things we want to do!
Thanks for sharing! Since switching to remote work I've had significantly more interactions with people from different time zones. Sometimes hard to keep track!
