Hey ProductHunt, and thank you so much for hunting us, Timi! We're excited to be launching Nohooks. Nohooks is a service that generates webhook events by polling the public APIs of your favourite platforms/services. It does not create nor update any resource, simply retrieving records, determining changes and pushing webhook events to your configured endpoints. Behind the scenes, all the webhooks are powered by Convoy (https://getconvoy.io) Today, Nohooks support three platforms: DigitalOcean, Notion and Render. Our goal is to enable engineers and automation enthusiasts to get webhooks from their favourite platforms and power new use cases that were formerly impossible. We welcome you to try it out today at nohooks.io and give us your feedback today. If you like to request a new service, feel free to reach us at support@nohooks.io or join our Slack Community here - https://join.slack.com/t/convoy-...

congratulations on the launch 👏 how does it work behind the scene ? you make a request every X seconds to the API and then send the webhoook event on change ?

@hrithwik Hey Hrithwik, that's exactly how it works. We hacked this together in less than a week. Ideally, we would love to open-source the code so we can collectively improve the polling system and event types/payload pending we get native support from these platforms. But I'll need to do some code clean up first.
