NexStem Headset & Wisdom SDK - Develop and deploy mind-controlled devices and applications

NexStem Headset and Wisdom SDK allows you to capture high quality EEG data and process them in real-time to give predictions about what you are thinking, and then deploy that to a device or application to control them using nothing but your thoughts.

Also, I would love to hear what you guys have to say and what you guys wanna build using the NexStem DevKit?
Siddhant Dangi
We made the NexStem Dev Kit, to enable developers around the globe, to develop customized BCI applications. NexStem Headset consists of 16 active electrode EEG channels and has sampling rate of 1000 samples per second with a battery backup of up to 6 hours of continuous usage. The headset has memory foam and polymer electrodes to ensure good contact quality and comfortable experience. Wisdom SDK comprises of all the the tools that you require to implement custom BCI (brain computer interface) pipelines and control devices and applications using just your thoughts. It provides you with a set of algorithms which you can directly use or customize based on your requirements using drag and drop methods. So, that you can explore the world of BCI even if you have no technical experience to begin with.

We have just started accepting pre-orders and plan on fulfilling those orders in the last week of March. We will only be accepting 50 orders in the first run. All the orders are fully refundable, in case you are not satisfied with the signal quality and the design.
Slava Bobrov
Looks nice, what are the locations (10-20 system) it records from?
Siddhant Dangi
@slava_bobrov The locations in a 10-20 format are as follows : AF3, AF4, Fz, FC3, FC4, C3, C4, C5, C6, Cz, CP3, CP4, CPz, Pz, PO3, and PO4. Since the electrodes are polymer based and the headset has a memory foam layer to adapt to the head shape, the contact quality of the electrodes is ensured.

This is futuristic! Congratulations on the launch! Do you think it will be possible to write with thought in the future?
Siddhant Dangi
@patrizia_green Yeah definitely, the SSVEP Speller and P300 Speller algorithm in the Wisdom SDK allow a person to spell out words and sentences using their EEG signals as the input. These spellers are indicative of what the future holds for brain computer interfaces.
Eu Gene
Future is comiiiiiing) I am so dumb at this as a user, but it sounds great, and it's interesting to see some use cases and results people can reach using this) Will track your success. Good luck!
Siddhant Dangi
@eu_gene91 Yup, the potential the BCI technology holds is just immense. Thanks for the good luck.!
Aris Alexis
Awesome idea. I have only one comment, the main photo depicts someone in anger or in distress and immediately my mind thinks that this will be painful.
Siddhant Dangi
@aris_alexis Don't worry, it's gonna be as comfortable as it gets. The headset has memory foam beneath the surface, and all the electrodes are made using conductive polymer. The headset only weighs in at 230 grams. The memory foam adapts to your head shape, providing you with a comfortable experience while ensuring contact quality for the electrodes.
Aris Alexis
@siddhantdangi I am pretty sure about that, was just trying to give my opinion in the design/marketing perspective :) I do have a research project that fits right in with your product maybe worth investigating.
Siddhant Dangi
@aris_alexis Thanks Aris for the feedback, we are actually working on shooting a few demo videos and getting them up to address the same :P. I highly recommend you to sign up for the developer program to keep yourselves up to date. Do reach out to me at siddhant@cortexbci.com in case you want to discuss your research project and how NexStem can help you make that come true.
