I recently took a deep dive into chatbots with the goal of identifying which areas of life would be dramatically improved if the "chatbot craze (AI)" framework were applied to it. It's no surprise that more than one area of finance was among the top results with both a clear path to monetization and strong value prop. From a personal need for the (messaging) app as well as the deep dive, I had high expectations for how the execution of experience should be delivered. So far the UX has been flawless. A chatbot initiates onboarding with questions and then you're quickly connected with an in-house financial advisor who is knowledgeable about your situation/area of inquiry. Great execution, great product, will live outside my phone's finance folder for the time being. Looking forward to having my questions answered whenever they pop into my mind!

@marcosmoralez Excited to hear more about your experience!

@carl_majette Yea man, the app is great! There has always been a ton of questions I would like to have answered but I'd rather not ask in a forum, or meet with an advisor. The content I do find online isn't personalized to me (and likely outdated). Tell your team they did a great job! 👍🏽 🙌🏽 🏆

I use Learnvest instead of Mint because of the ability to talk to financial planners, so it's cool to see more competitors in the space.

@miles_matthias totally. Mint is a great tool if you want to get an overview of your money but it’s hard to tell what to do with that information. At the same time it's incredibly complex and time consuming to make big financial decisions like investing or paying off your loans or buying a house. We build the app because we believe everyone should have access to financial advice - and it should not cost you an arm and a leg. Our advisors are trained in house and they’re backed by NerdWallet’s in house logic - like your nerdy friend with tons of financial knowledge 🤓
