Hello I'm Jack! I come from an SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) background and understand the importance of monitoring and reliability, especially when relying on third-party services. This seems to be common when creating a SaaS; it's a circle of services relying on each other. I recently started creating my own SaaS products and realized that monitoring can feel like a huge chore and can also be a bit pricey. This is where Monitro comes in. I'm hoping this simple idea will help others get started with monitoring and highlight its importance and benefits! I have big plans for Monitro to make it even simpler and more reliable. I am launching to test the waters to see if people find this as valuable as I do. Future plans are to: - add more language support - make it more reliable (backup server) - better filtering / sorting of events - Log archiving - more connections - multiple API keys and multiple channels for the connections This product is not where i want it to be, i'm hoping with the support of the community i can put my full focus to making monitro amazing!

@sansjack That looks amazing 🤩 Is it possible to create projects to track and monitor events from different projects? Would be nice so it could be used for multiple services or projects and I guess viewing and filtering the data on the dashboard could be much easier as well. Congrats on the launch 🚀

@crebuh Hey Christofer, This is definitely possible! It's not exactly where i want it but definitely will be made better. Currently you can filter by "service" on the events page at the top by clicking the service name you wish to filter by!

@sansjack Yes, or filtering by service is also sufficient, just to keep things clear if you want to nail down a specific issue 👏🏻

Hey Jack, This looks like a handy tool for dev teams. I'm curious about a few things: - How does monitro.dev handle potential false positives or noise in the log alerts? - Are there plans to support other communication platforms beyond Slack, Discord, and Telegram? - Can users set up custom alert rules or thresholds based on their specific needs? Congrats on the launch!

The tool seems promising, but it might be beneficial to add options for longer event keeping or more advanced analytics in the future. This could help users gain deeper insights into their logs and improve overall system reliability. Best of luck with the product!
