Mokkah, is an affordable luxury footwear brand for women who wear larger sized shoes (UK8-12). I've always loved shoes. When I was younger I had them in abundance - with bags to match and dresses to compliment but as I grew, so did my feet but at a rapid pace. I was a size 5 at age 7, size 8 at 11 and a size 10 at 16. I felt ugly because I didn't fit 'the standard', embarrassed whenever the shoe clerk said they didn't stock my size and defeminised because even now, I need to purchase trainers from the men's section. Not many people understand the whirlwind of emotions you go through as a teenage girl with large feet. You become more afraid of the thoughts people may have than the comments themselves. Mokkah is beyond shoes, it's a movement. We aim to empower and inspire women who found it difficult to express themselves through fashion.
