The founding of Minduck stems from a real need I encountered in my work. As a product manager, mind maps are the beginning of everything for me. They represent my thought processes as well as all my sketches and plans. However, mind maps cannot serve as the final deliverables for actual execution and reporting. This led me to wonder, "Why can't AI help us transform mind maps into final deliverable content?" Based on this initial need, we created Minduck. Minduck is not just a tool for generating and enhancing mind maps; it is also an intelligent assistant that helps people generate final visual deliverables based on their thinking framework, especially those who are not well-versed in AI but wish to see AI change their work methods. Minduck also possesses its own thinking capabilities. It learns and understands the user's true needs based on their actual generation requirements, recommending relevant types of deliverables to help users take the first step in creation. Additionally, Minduck organizes and summarizes these generation processes and behaviors as needed, helping it better understand the user and build user profiles to ensure that its outputs better meet user needs. Minduck is different from other AIGC applications on the market. We do not want users to spend a lot of time researching prompts to use AI. We also want those who are not tech-savvy to experience the changes AI can bring to their work. We have moved away from the traditional chat-based interaction model and adopted a visual, interactive method using mind maps. By dragging and modifying content and nodes in the mind map, the generated content, whether it be images, text, or even future videos and animations, will adjust accordingly. I think the value prop is clear - I'm not a huge mind map user, but I've been doing more mind maps recently and they are a pretty good tool to uncover ideas, tracking root causes and solution. Firstly, we see mind map interactions not as a replacement for chat-based AI (in the AI Era), but as a complementary interaction style suited for specific scenarios. We recognize that many products use chat-based interfaces mainly because LLMs are inherently chat-based technology. Currently, we don't have concrete quantitative statistics, but we've received feedback from several users who say that this mind map interaction style is far superior to traditional chat interfaces. They mentioned that they often don't know how to communicate effectively with AI and are primarily reluctant to learn prompt engineering. The mind map format has been much more intuitive and user-friendly for them. We're glad you brought up the topic of mind map formats and handling complexity and multifaceted queries. That's precisely what we're working on. As for incorporating query-like functionalities, we'll consider it based on user needs and the potential for productization. However, technically, we have already implemented this capability!
