Hey, Product Hunters! Mubs and I are very excited to share MicroAssets with you. In the Spring of 2023, MicroAssets started as a newsletter curating under-the-radar assets to acquire and quickly grew to over 1000 readers. Since then, we’ve been successfully connecting buyers with high-potential projects, and helped a number of people to get their projects acquired. MicroAssets is fully bootstrapped and we love to see bootstrapped founders win. We’ve now created the platform that we'd be happy to use ourselves. Full control of your listings. Full transparency. Easy to use and with a high chance of getting a sale. You can sell any of your assets for free - SaaS, directories, content sites, apps, newsletters, websites and more, and we are solo founder friendly. We understand exactly how it feels to bootstrap projects. For everyones safety we advise all to use Escrow to process transactions. To access full details about a startup you must have a Premium membership. This ensures the buyer is serious about the acquisition and avoids wasted time. @socodemaker It would be neat to see previously successful acquisitions or case studies somewhere on the website. Even if the product name/buyer/seller is anonymous, reading about previous sales and successes would be neat. (And inspiration to sell on MicroAssets 👀)

Hey, curious -- do you plan to also take care of the escrow process down the line, or remain more of a facilitator for the initial transaction?

@yuvalkarmi it's something we'll need to discuss for sure. At this stage theres a few things to add on the road map before anything like this.

@yuvalkarmi Yeah, think "escrow" isn't a feature of the marketplace. Escrow.com has existed for a very long time, and other alternatives exist as well. Think we'll leave that part of the process to others, and focus on building a vibrant marketplace.

@dwilson1 Working to put the"micro" back into acquisitions. Acquire is great, but they've moved up-market so to speak, and the listing requirements make it difficult for smaller projects to get listed and sold. We're keeping a focus on the micro side of the market here.

@dwilson1 Great question. While there are obvious similarities in the platform itself, I think the major difference now is the community and demographic, particularly since MicroAcquire became Acquire.
