Congrats on the launch! Btw, how are you guys different from Formless.ai (by Typeform), which is essentially Open AI + Typeform? Can you share some use cases of how your users are using it today?

@ivinay Hey Vinay! Very good question. We've not been able to figure out the value prop of Formless. Just conversational forms may not be enough to add significant value. Which is why our focus with Metaforms is to gather the maximum number of life-changing insights for our customers. This means we optimise for net new data points for every form. AI helps us keep the user coherently engaged while collecting more data for the builders.

Sorry. I don't understand what this is. Is it an AI chatbot or is it google forms, or something in between? or is it an AI feedback generator? Or Funnel follow up emails with AI or? The communication is communicating to much, maybe focus on problem / solution so its easier to understand quicker. # my 2 cent feedback ✌️

@sentry_co The confusion is real and fair, André. We're solidly a forms company for Feedback, Surveys and Research data collection. Though the category itself is evolving to expand the functions of a form. Adaptive Forms can seem too confusing to begin with for sure, but that's where genAI capabilities are changing what a form can and cannot do while collecting data. For instance—- Typeform's Formless claims to answer questions while asking questions, flirting with the chatbot category.

@akshattyagi4 Alright. So that's the solution. And the problem is then that the current forms are generic, boring, people hate doing them, they add no value back etc, and the feedback you get is sort of skewed to your initial mindset. but dynamic forms are fun, its like speaking to a real person, you feel you add your unique insight as help etc. And the feedback also is more useful, because its more creative, you can get unexpected feedback that might 360 your your understanding etc.

curious to see how this plays out, cuz i'm fed up of regular run of the mill form solutions. the friction of good questions needs to be balanced with smooth performance and functional data collation and meaningful back end presentation

@reddy2go Yes sir! An important balance indeed, which is why we think designing new AI interfaces is a very tricky job. Typeform has been attempting the same with Formless, Metaforms is our attempt at it.

I’ve tried it on mobile. Some recommendations for improvement. The questions at the beginning were common, than it was changed with context. The AI was pushing me to make answers. It gathered at least some questions, that’s good. To improve 1)I always had to scroll down on phone that distracted , 2) there were always 10 sec time left and it only came to 0 when I was bored and asked to stop, I don’t like when i don’t know how much time should I spend. 3) if I don’t want to answer a question it’s better to change question. Overall it’s good tool, but difficult to compete with free forms .

@iuliia_demchyk That's really thoughtful feedback. I broadly agree with all points you mentioned. We're working on improving— 1. Scroll (making the forms full-screen everytime you're filling it up) 2. Handling delays— yes it can be really annoying to wait, will make it faster consistently 3. That's a really cool suggestion— Switching questions upon inactivity. Thanks for this, really appreciate it.
