Any reason why the link immediately downloads a file rather than loading a page with more info and option to download....?
Andrii Leitisus
@vinnie_t Sorry for that, this is my first PH launch. Fixed. Thanks!

I am going to run this bar app for my team members of http://realspyapps.com. Will see how it is working and leave the review.

Nice open source product!
Fabiano Bernardo
It doesn't really work on my computer...
Andrii Leitisus
@bernardo_fabio Can you describe your more details here? https://github.com/leits/Meeting... I will fix this in the next update. Thanks!
Fabiano Bernardo
@leits I don't have a lot more to add, the app never opened on my side (even if I ran it from the system pref panel), so I removed it and installed Meeter instead
Andrii Leitisus
@bernardo_fabio It's sad to hear. However, my goal is not to sell this app. My goal is to share the application that solves my problem so that it becomes useful to other users. I will continue to improve it, so if after a while you will be looking again, I'll be glad if you try again and it will be suitable for you.
Andrii Leitisus
@bernardo_fabio Looks like I found out where the problem was. Please try the latest version.

Seems very very very similar to this old project from 2018 https://www.producthunt.com/post...

It's so simple and useful! Thanks!

Get rid of these scary warnings and stuff and possibly do not ask for system password?
Andrii Leitisus
@niksmac Now it's a public beta, so the application isn't yet registered in the AppStore. But it will be there in the near future and all scary warning warnings will disappear. The product is completely open source, so you can be sure (and even check for yourself) that there are no threats in it.

edit: Nice app with a low memory footprint. Much better than Superpowered ;-)
Andrii Leitisus
Hi, @patrickrushton! MeetingBar is fully native and written entirely in Swift. You can look at the source here: https://github.com/leits/MeetingBar Once installed, it takes up only 10 MB.
Andrii Leitisus
@patrickrushton Thanks, no problem! Try MeetingBar and feel free to contact me on any issue!

Any chance to make it check MS Outlook?
Andrii Leitisus
@niklaspivic666 Sorry, not planned now. But you can connect Outlook to your macOS calendar to use this app.

So airy and convenient. I recommend it!

Hi @leits this app is great, really useful for my daily workflow, bar one problem. The global CMD+K shortcut is used by a number of apps, and I don't see a way to disable it? I've already launched Chrome a few times today trying to search for someone on Slack. Would love a feature to disable all shortcuts. Thanks!
Andrii Leitisus
@dayle_rees Thanks! I'll add the option to disable shortcuts in Preferences today. And a full shortcut configuration will be in the next release.
Andrii Leitisus
@dayle_rees Released! Check new version in github!

MeetingBar is so simple and elegant.
Dmitry Tsybin
Awesome tool, thanks! Enjoying using it. The next step is to integrate MeetingBar with BetterTouchTools to make both even more usable.

Any chance of this coming to windows? Would love a function where it automatically joins the next meeting for you!
Ismail Ahmad
Thanks so much for this!!!!!!!

“MeetingBar” can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software.
Andrii Leitisus
@dandancrisan Now it's a public beta, so the application isn't yet registered in the AppStore. But it will be there in the near future!
Harv M
@leits Can't load the app. MacOS error message states that the app can't be checked for malicious code. Requires an updated version. Any recommendations?
Andrii Leitisus
@harv_m try to open app again. And after error message, allow app to open from System Preferences [Security & Privacy > General > Open Anyway button]. Official apple guide for this (section "How to open an app that hasn’t been notarized or is from an unidentified developer"): https://support.apple.com/en-us/... Comment on whether you were able to open. Thanks!
