We just wanted an app where it would be *easy* to do things with data. Like checking website traffic from ads in December, or comparing DAU in Q4.2016 vs Q1.2017.
With Median it really is. Right now we're only lacking with our integrations and we're working day and night on improving that. Can't wait for your feedback.
@jason_weingardt Thanks! Please send any feedback you can think of. It's still early, and it's still beta, and we're hoping to be in an entirely different place in a 2 months from now.
@tomas_ondrejka It will require adding a server architecture, so hopefully, but it will all depend how much interest can this version generate. The product/market fit is still questionable.
@nicobarbecalon You are not the first to ask about this. :) We're adding new sources every week, so this is only a question of time. Thanks for giving it a try!
This looks nice! Any plan on adding direct databases integration (MySQL, Postgre, etc.) and/or CSV files?
For info, your help site, specifically the 2FA tuto for itunes connect (http://median.helpscoutdocs.com/...) is detected as a Deceptive URL and is blocked in Chrome :
This is a really cool native osx app for dashboarding and charting analytics data. Cool playing around with the Google Analytics and Mixpanel integrations. Thanks for sharing!
I tried Median and I really like it. It is great that I can merge Play Store, Firebase and AdSense into just one chart and even set it on desktop to see it all the time. Nice.
@mareksuscak I think for now it'll be based on UI. But we want to make it more flexible, kinda like what Tableau has - that you can drag around dimensions, metrics, and you can just do more things.
Just been playing with it and its a very quick way to graph different data sources out of the box... nice! Would be great though it you could also sum data together from sources such as app installs for iOS + Android for example. Also will be much better when more sources are plugged in - hope Facebook ads are coming soon!
@jhudson_1 Thanks, Facebook ads are actually the most requested feature right now.
It's possible to do some simple sum by creating chart with 2 layers and using stacked chart, but it's not real math yet. We want to build that too.
Working on getting validation of the idea for now, and once we feel more comfortable, we'll jump right into coding!
