Hey there! šŸ‘‹ Konstantin and Margarita here. We are proud to introduce MaxFocus ā€“ a browser extension that lets you preview links directly on your current page, making you surf faster and easier Here's what you can do: šŸ‘€ Peek at links instantly: See exactly what a link is about without leaving your current page. One click/hover/short key, instant info šŸ“–ļøļøļøļøļøļø Read in peace: Ditch the clutter and ads. MaxFocus gives you a clean, distraction-free view for a truly peaceful reading šŸ¤“ Distraction-free YouTube: Watch videos without sidebars or unnecessary distractions. Just you and the content, uninterrupted šŸŽØ Customize everything: Change the popup behaviour, open/close triggers, popup appearance to create the perfect browsing environment for you šŸ¤– AI-powered browsing: Ask questions, get prompt suggestions and summarizations right in the preview to dive deeper into the subject šŸ”’ Surf safe & secure: MaxFocus warns you about potentially risky websites so you can browse confidently. Plus, it removes tracking parameters from links you open, keeping your privacy intact All major browsers, including Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Brave, are supported. People who use MaxFocus love it, and we think you will, too! Try it for free, and let us know what you think. We're always looking for ways to improve it, and your feedback is a huge help! I am happy to answer any questions and appreciate your support āœØ With love, Konstantin & Margarita.

@qostya Congrats on the launch, guys! Your MaxFocus browser extension sounds great! I'm intrigued by the AI-powered browsing feature. How exactly does it work, and what kind of questions can I ask to get prompt suggestions and summarizations? Thanks!
Konstantin Beldy
@miko_markovic11 Thank you, Miko! :) You can ask any questions related to the previewed page. We will also show you some questions based on the page info. I have recorded a demo video for you:
You can try it for yourself. We have a 7-day free trial with all features.

@qostya i always have tens of tabs, big pain, and will try it. Does maxfocus work with google doc preview?
Konstantin Beldy
@lightfield Hello! Yes, it should. Message me if not
Zenda
Perfect! Saves my tabs, as I always have dozens of browser tabs open at the same time. MaxFocus will make me more immersed in reading. I really love ā¤ļø @qostya
Konstantin Beldy
@zenda1122 Thank you for your support! We are very happy that you like our extension :)

@qostya You are welcome.šŸ˜Š I am also launching a chrome extension tomorrow. Hope to get your support.šŸ«¶

Anastasia Chakileva
Congrats on the launch! How does it manage resource usage, especially with multiple previews open at once? And can you elaborate on how the AI-powered features enhance user experience beyond just summarizing content?
Margarita Balkheeva
Hi @anastasia_chakileva_ , Thank you for your comment! Currently, MaxFocus does not support multiple previews, but the extension is lightweight and performance-friendly. Loading pages in the preview is even faster since the browser uses less memory for an iframe compared to opening a new tab. Additionally, you can turn on "Read Mode" for a fast, clutter-free preview or use "Ultra Power Saving Mode," which removes all images, iframes, and canvases from the page to further enhance performance. As for the AI-powered features, we offer more than just content summarization: - AI will suggest prompts relevant to the page - You can ask questions related to the content you're previewing - You can get links related to the previewed page Thanks again for your interest, and let us know if you have any other questions!

This is really great! Just tried it on the PH launches page and it's working very well. I also love the customizability. Suggestion: Enable/disable from the "icon-menu" Will it be possible to make it also work on links that are hidden behind Javascript (e.g. to preview the posts in https://www.producthunt.com/disc...)? What about previewing links in a preview?
Konstantin Beldy
@konrad_sx They, thank you! Great ideas. > make it also work on links that are hidden behind Javascript It looks like a challenge for my inner programmer :)

Abzal Assembekov
@balkheeva hey Margarita , I noticed that it doesn't works on Instagram. When I long click on a username of a user, at a list of followers of a user, it loads Instagram site with an error that page is not found.
Konstantin Beldy
@balkheeva @abzal_assembekov Thank you for the feedback. Sorry for that. We'll add some hacks for Instagram soon :)

I already installed this on Firefox and I didn't know I needed this. I like the AI options such as summarize page.
Rodrigo Calix
@qostya Your welcome, hey, can I suggest a feature? It would be nice if whenever I highlight an address with the pointer... lets say examplesite.com it appear a small button or maybe with a right click, have the option to see the preview of that address, is very common that some addresses are not in a link, for example when you read a PDF or a document, of that way I wouldn't need to open another tab.
Hassan Sohan

Michon van Vilsteren
Really awesome product! Congrats on your launch on PH. It reminds me a bit of the ARC feature with AI, just much more flexible and more customisation. Really fair pricing as well i would say for such a good tool
Konstantin Beldy
@michon_van_vilsteren Thank you :) Yeah, it's part of Arc for those who don't want to switch to it from their browser By the way, about 5% of users use our extension from Arc
Bon
Congratulations on your launch, Konstantin! An extremely minimalist gadget, consistent with how Arc handles links.
Konstantin Beldy
@bonvisions Thanks! I hope we don't trigger users to install Arc šŸ˜„
