Just installed it on iPad and its stuck on "Please wait while we extract the contents of the app" screen for so long now. Haven't seen such a setup process before, sucks!

@ashfame This is a one-time operation and is done only once when you install and launch the app for the very first time. We uncompress about 6000 shapes & symbols on first launch and that's the reason for delay. We are already working on a way to reduce this time.

Waited nearly 5 minutes on the "Extracting Contents page" while staring at a screen full of ads. Needless to say I deleted the app.

@johnrwhaley Same here. Not optimized for 6+, but not that big of a deal. The ads though. I had 2 banners and 2 full screen popups within 3 minutes.

@thejarren @johnrwhaley We just released an update to the app and the app doesn't have an extraction process anymore. The app launches immediately and is ready to use the very second it is launched. We have also made some UI/UX fixes and reduced the ads significantly based on the feedback we have received so far. Will appreciate if you can have a look at it now and let me know of your feedback.

Just wondering, why would I want to create logos on my phone? This is a desktop medium purpose. It's like if you created an app to create a website easily on your phone.

@_alexiroy Same... A logo should be carefully constructed, it's your brand, should be perfect! It's super difficult to get this right on mobile/touch screens. Might benefit from having a 'snap' or grid feature when moving objects.

Great app! Love the flexibility you get for the text, as well as the great amount of fonts available. However, the amount of popup ads is, I believe, quite a bit excessive. I couldn't even get too much work done before being interrupted by a full screen ad. And such an ad, when you're trying to precisely position something, is quite annoying.

@lastashero No problem, also it takes toooo long to extract whatever your extracting on the on boarding screen, it made me want to leave. You also have way too many advertisements and not a lot of free options.

Upvote! This is a good tool, I'm downloading for Android. I want to say that creating logos (for small companies, projects, or whatever) is always something hard, the free options on the internet are full of ads or are old *af*. This is certainly something to change this industry.

Be interesting to check this out from a graphic designers point of view, i don't think we should worry about this sort of tech but it will certainly take those quick jobs away from us. Business is business and all that!

@graphicartwork Jake, the app was never built with an intention to replace Graphic Designers - it never can. There is so much to a logo than just the design and a tool/app alone cannot compensate that :)

Thanks for all your feedback. In the next update, we will try and reduce the extraction time by half or come up with a different way to handle the extraction in a progressive way. We will also be reducing the ads significantly and will remove some of them.

As a designer I can get behind the idea of apps like this, far better than crap like 99designs, etc. Problem is, there is no way you created your own logo with the tool. This shows a lack of faith in your own tool , and sets users up for a let down when they actually use it. It's just to hard to do even simple things like change the stroke on a shape, delete layers, etc, and the ads...

@abiv Appreciate your frank feedback. With each updates we are trying to make the app more designer friendly. We have plans to include strokes, snap to grid, select all and such in the next few updates. If there are other specific tools/features you would like to see in the app please let me know and we will do our best to include them.

Deleted a few minutes after watching the throbber tick away on the "extracting" screen. If it can't get through that on 6S in less that 180 seconds I hate to think of the poor people with slower models.

The extraction process is way too long imo. 10 minutes and still extracting. There should be a solution with progressive extraction.

@asatwork 10 minutes is way too long. In most of the device we tested (5x and 6x), it was under 3 minutes. Can I know which device you are on?
