@jinukim21 Nice product, I couldn't find the right touch to press with my AZERTY keyboard so I had to switch to QWERTY mode and then it worked!
Jinu Kim
@regis_arts Glad it worked! We're working with our A.I. intern Jessica to make "Liner" an easier app to use :)

@jinukim21 Great concept! Unfortunately, the ~ key (to turn on highlighting) seems to be conflicting with my Evernote Web Clipper. (I realize I can manually turn on the highlighting mode, but in case you didn't know about the Evernote clipper conflict.)

@jinukim21 when is "Strikeout for Chrome" coming out???
Jinu Kim
@chubert Thanks! We had a few complaints. So we're developing the option to change the ~ shortcut as you speak!
Harvi
Nice job! Cool product :)
Min Park
@harv_79 Thanks Harvi! Please let me know if you have any questions. Such as: How do you highlight? Why is the Sun yellow? What do clouds taste like?
Harvi
@parkhmp7 You know what clouds taste like??? :O
Min Park
@harv_79 While I would prefer cotton candy or even wool. I would assume it tastes like water vaper ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (Your Highlight Fact of the Day!)
Paul Watson
It works quite well once you get it going but it requires extensive Twitter permissions and on first install it will refresh all open tabs so be careful.
Min Park
@paulmwatson Thanks for the tip! I'll forward your message to the dev-team. Who don't sleep, eat, or blink. So the issue should be solved soon enough.
Paul Watson
@parkhmp7 please let them blink or they'll code wonky ;) Thanks Minh, looking forward to seeing Liner developing. Currently Highly is my highlighter of choice.
Min Park
@paulmwatson The world deserves more web highlighting services! "Liner" is aiming towards providing a wide-array of features. Such as adding comments on highlights (For feedback). Saving highlights to Evernote. And organizing your highlights into folders :)
Jan Friman
Will you create a Safari and Firefox extension as well?
Min Park
@janfriman HI Jan, we're going to develop the Safari extension next! Although it may take a while. As we're spending most of our resource putting down a robot rebellion.
Jan Friman
@parkhmp7 Cheers Minh! Take em' out 😄 Follow up: is there a plan for an API to integrate with your own app?
Min Park
@janfriman Yes we're planning on implementing an API in the future. It would be nice to be able to highlight on any website or save articles into Pocket via Highlighting. The API will also take a while as we're rebuilding civilization after the robot apocalypse.
Brian Woo
Please let us know if you have any questions! Such as how do you highlight the web? Why is the sky blue? What is the meaning of Life.
Shuvo Khan
Wow! cool one
Min Park
@shuvokhan77 Thanks for the support :) Please let us know if you have any questions~
Andrei Oprisan
Any chance the web highlighter will be open sourced?
Min Park
@andreioprisan Sounds like an interesting strategy! Will have to talk to the dev-team about that :) It would help with "Highlighting Everything"
Luca Demian
I like the idea, but it is really kind of annoying that the extension reloads all tabs when installed. I had around 30 tabs open, and my computer became useless for like 5 minutes. Please give the option of reloading all tabs!
Min Park
@ltdemian We'll have to put up a warning notification! Thanks for the tip. Extra oreos for you :)
Han Kyul Park
Slick iphone app as well!
Ross Farley
Loving it so far... though wish I could "select all" to trash all the pocket articles I just imported!!
Min Park
@rossfaarley Oops! We're thinking of separating Pocket articles into folders or adding a tag.
Oli West
Love it. Add public collaboration, build a community, and you've got a serious business on your hands. Well done.
Min Park
@oliwesbiz We're considering adding a follower/following feature. It would be interesting to find out what Paul Graham highlights. Group highlighting is also a possibility.
Min Park
@500joke Thanks for the phenomenal comment :)
Alice Thwaite
This is great. Well thought through - fab integrations. Well done.
Min Park
@alicelthwaite Hi Alice, Thanks for the fabulous comment :) You can import Pocket/Instapaper articles in Liner (so you can leave highlights), and you can also save your highlights to Evernote!
River Sloane
Looks great! Would've been amazing for reading studies at college 🙌
Min Park
@jarrattisted We have users from Harvard, Stanford, Cornell, and NYU! Highlights comments are a great way to leave targeted feedback. And highlights are great for keeping track of references.
Joe Cotellese
This could be really cool. I've wanted something like this for a long time. @Diigo was close but not exactly what I needed.
Min Park
@joecotellese @diigo Hope you find what you need at Liner :)
Stowe Boyd
I can't seem to get it to work at all.
Min Park
@stoweboyd Sorry for the confusion. Please let me know where you're having trouble :( We'll get to work on improving the user-experience with the help of our A.I. intern Jessica.
Min Park
Special Thanks to @_jacksmith for helping get "Liner for Chrome" on ProductHunt :)
