At Kindaba, we’re building a space where you can keep all family communication in one place. Our features are designed to include the whole family. As more of our lives are lived online, and we raise children in this digital age, we want a safe space for them to interact with their private family network.

This is super great and I can't wait to get ALL of my family on it. This will enable our family to truly come together, across the miles and not feel as though we are missing out on so much!

Pros:

A new and amazing option for staying in touch with family - of all generations!

Cons:

Still a little buggy, but the team is responsive to feedback.

I like this a lot. Everyone in my family (everyone) is in an apple device so we don’t need this, but I think it’s a great idea if people are on different device types and don’t want to use something owned by Facebook or similar.

Being a young father and security conscious, this app is the perfect way for my wife and I to share our special moments with our family without the whole world also seeing what we're up to. I like the fact our data is ours and only ours, and not used for promotional activity or demographic profiling etc. No adverts follow you around the internet if you use this app!

Pros:

Great concept, awesome team and super fast support

Cons:

A little buggy, but this is being worked in day in day out and shouldn't put people off using!

Love the app and what it stands for. Would love to hear more from the Kindaba team about what makes this app unique for kids, and what plans there are for messaging service in the future?

Great question!! Our Kindaba beta community are with you - clamouring for messaging. We definitely have plans for messaging and hope to have news on that front pretty soon 😉. As for a kids experience, that too is in our roadmap, requested by our users, as it's super important to us to be building something that can be used by anyone regardless of their age and savviness. To make sure we get the balance right and get the experience right, we're doing lots of research into what makes a kids experience fun, but also crucially what will make it encourage activity outside of the app (in the real world!!). We're also committed to making Kindaba compliant with directives like GDPR (young people's software), COPPA, and others around the world. We're getting great feedback about what our member families want the most from a Kids experience, and look forward to sharing more about it soon.

I’m still not 100% sold on families paying for this product, vs using a messenger app for free. However, I’m not the target market

This is sticky - but what about cam integration? Not needed but throwing that idea into the pot...

Pros:

Allows for more candid, personal, or private posts - stuff not suitable for an open network - especially important re: kid privacy.

Cons:

Good feature set but looking forward to seeing additional features as they get rolled out.
