Hello product makers and enthusiasts💃 This is Kate, Ilia, and Pasha. It's our pleasure to launch Kaleido today! Thanks Ben Lang for hunting us! Let me tell you a story about why and how Kaleido came about. Our CEO, Ilia, worked at many startups as a product designer and faced the same key challenge each time: how to mix the team's ideas and user insights to make the right product decisions. Of course, he tried different services. Canny, Uservoice, and Maze help to collect feedback, but it's not enough. Productboard, Aha!, and Cycle focus on building roadmaps, but no one covers the connection between what users do and what they say. You have to use your hands and eyes to collect this information from different sources. As a result, Ilia's team assembled a Frankenstein from different services. It solved the problem, but it was not very convenient to use. So we thought: why not make a whole product to solve this problem? To be able to transform user pain points more accurately and easily into product decisions that matter. So we gathered together to do what we lacked at our previous places of work - Kaleido. Although Kaleido is in open beta, you can already: 📝 Record information about your users. Manually record your insights, set up an integration with Slack, or connect an integration from your feedback repository. You'll have all your users' ideas and thoughts in one place. And enrich that information with any characteristics of your users. 🔦 Find patterns and combine individual thoughts into larger projects. You can convert 100 feedbacks into 10 projects, and AI will help you do this smarter and faster. 🧮 Compare projects with each other. For example, you can see that one project has a lot more money closed, but another affects more people. And the third has significant seasonality. And based on this comparison, you can make product decisions. 💬 Set tasks for teams so that they understand the roots of problems. They can read the words behind your insights and be more empathetic to your users. In short, we're making this kind of powerful tool. But the only thing you have to worry about is to look for patterns and compare projects to each other. That's when the magic happens! Here is a short demo for those who want to try using Kaleido https://youtu.be/I1_76D4QrUs. Especially since the free plan includes enough functionality to help you appreciate the value of Kaleido for your product!

Hey Product Hunt, This is Ilia, and we're Kaleido team 👋. And we are thrilled to be launching our app today! As we are still in the early stages of development, we are eager to receive your feedback. Your thoughts, ideas, and words are what drive us and shape our product. Our mission is to create a co-pilot for product teams that helps them understand and listen to both their users' feedback and ideas as well as their own team's thoughts, combining them together. We aim to convert this information into valuable product decisions using the best tools and techniques available to product development teams, including AI, Atomic research patterns, instant reports and more. We are just beginning our journey, and we look forward to the exciting road ahead. Thank you for your support!

Congrats on the launch! Exciting to see Kaleido in the wild 🎉🏆 It's great to see more integrations coming and generally seeing the product progressing week on week! As someone who has faced the issue of organizing and making sense from feedback several times before, this definitely is a must solution! What would you say is the Kaleido feature you are most excited about that you're working on right now?
Ilia Bovkunov
@pkov Thank you! Our top of mind now is how to combine quantitative and qualitative data from users without any setup, even if we receive them from different sources. We feel that this should be an important part of the product process going forward, given all the modern technologies such as AI that are coming into our lives
Hai Ta
really interesting concept. This seems like a smart way to aggregate feedback and pool efforts in what yields the most return 👌👌👌 Great launch @kate_bovkunova !
@hai_ta1 Yes, that's absolutely right! We believe that there is immense value in user feedback, especially when we combine it with our own product insights and ideas, and prioritize accordingly. Thank you for understanding the importance of this!
Irina Haupt
Congrats everyone! 🚀🎉 What type of AI technology do you use to help product teams analyze feedback and identify patterns more efficiently?
Ilia Bovkunov
@irina_haupt Thank you! We use several types of pattern recognition, including integrations with popular providers like OpenAI, to maintain quality.
Irina Haupt
@ilya_b_ Sweet, thanks for sharing! :)
Christian Canlubo 🚀
Good find 🧐
@christian_canlubo Exactly👋
Congratulations on the launch today! I've used loads of tools (ClickUp, Notion, Canny, etc.) but it's a really interesting approach to use AI to draw out potential product insights. Something interesting about DoveTail is that you can upload user interview videos and then DoveTail will transcribe it and try to identify the potential features, bugs, etc. Could be something you look to integrate too if possible. I think this whole Product mgmt space has a lot of room for AI-oriented tooling.
@rawoyemi Thank you for your valuable comment! We appreciate it🧡 Yes, we have plans to integrate with other services to help with tasks such as transcribing interviews, which can help preserve key insights and easily distribute them into projects in Kaleido. We understand that there are many different approaches to product development and we don't necessarily want to compete with others. Instead, we aim to offer a unique approach that works for certain users. We believe that there are product connoisseurs out there who will find great value in Kaleido!
@kate_bovkunova Thanks that makes a lot of sense! It's a valuable product; wishing you guys the best with the rest of the launch and the trajectory hereafter!

Great product with lot of interesting features, congratulations! There is one thought: in my life, ideas are never separated from context. Mostly, ideas appears as part of long discussion. Almost all of these discussions are in comments on Google Docs. Actually, ideas (IMHO) do not belong to external authors. They are always summary of discussions, spin-off phrases, which are based on context. So, it might be interesting to get not only ideas–project link, but context–ideas workflow. Not sure it concerns your product vision, thought.
Ilia Bovkunov
@olgapavlova This is the type of feedback that we will take very seriously and discuss at our next team meeting. This is very interesting. Thank you very much!
Congratulations on your launch 🚀🎉
Ilia Bovkunov
@mehmettalhasisman thanks you for your support!
Maria Kovalevich
Looks like a very relevant and useful tool 🙌 Wishing you all the best on your first launch and beyond! Keep up the great work!
Ilia Bovkunov
@maria_kovalevich Thank you! We're just getting started, but it seems to be very interesting. 🙂
Adrian Steriopol
Wow, this is really helpful! Sometimes I feel like I need a second brain, and now, here it is 🙌 Congrats on launching Kaleido 🚀🚀🚀
@adrian14 Great to hear that you love the concept of a second brain🧠 We are equally committed to making the work of product leaders easier with Kaleido. Our aim is to provide a platform where you can easily capture user insights, connect the dots, and make informed product decisions. Thank you for your comment!
Daniel Ley
🎉 Congrats, @kate_bovkunova Looks like a quite interesting tool, thinking about user pain points. I use the atomic user research process for years now and haven't find a tool or helper managing this well. Do you plan to add more research driven aspects from the atomic user research process to the tool? I see lots of scenarios where AI could help synthesizing patterns to also create insights out of it, before the pure ideation creation.
@dley_de Great to hear from an expert in Atomic research! We have a lot of ideas in mind, as most products do, including adding more research driven aspects. We would love to hear more about your experience and insights. Would you be interested in discussing it in detail over a zoom-call?👀 I will send you a private message and hope to continue our fruitful communication. Thank you for your valuable feedback!
Genia Trofimova
Btw, feature request: it would be cool to automatically send update to those who requested the feature. We currently use one feedback tool to collect requests and it shows when stuff ships in product, but we manually write those people who requested/voted for the feature to thank them.
Ilia Bovkunov
@evgenia_trofimova Thank you very much! That's a great idea, and it aligns perfectly with our roadmap for the summer releases!
Alex Golubev
Congrats 👏👏👏 I enjoy your idea What type of business is your product best suited for?
@new_user__10120234dcdc4bb923f118e We believe that Kaleido would be particularly useful for SaaS companies with a large volume of feedback and a team size ranging from 30 to 200 employees. Thank you for your support🧡
Dima Groshev

Shreyas Iyer
Congrats on the launch! Finding the right balance between addressing user feedback and incorporating new features into the product roadmap can be a tricky. It's definitely a problem I've faced myself. Always exciting to see innovative products like Kaleido that enhance productivity in the workspace! My one question is how do you collect user data into Kaleido? Does the product have some integrations to make this process easier? Excited to give Kaleido a try!
Ilia Bovkunov
@shreyasiyer Thanks! Basically, we started with CSV upload, Slack, and Telegram integrations. Our clients mostly use these sources to get user data into their Kaleido workspaces.
Shreyas Iyer
@ilya_b_ Makes sense! Do you have any plans on your roadmap to introduce additional integrations?
Ilia Bovkunov
@shreyasiyer Yes, we are passionate about combining qualitative and quantitative user data in one place, and to achieve this, we are working on integrating Segment and Intercom.
Dmitry Khodatsky
First off, congratulations on launching Kaleido! It is always challenging to collect, understand, and act on user feedback in a cohesive manner, and it seems like Kaleido is the answer to that problem. Kudos to Kate, Ilia, and Pasha for bringing this innovative solution to life! 👏 P.S. I loved the demo video! It gives a clear understanding of how Kaleido works and showcases its potential in helping product teams make better decisions.
@dmitry_khodatsky Thank you! We put a lot of effort into designing the app so that everything is intuitive and easy to understand. However, we understand that with complex products, it can still be overwhelming for first-time users. That's why we also created a demo video to help guide them through the process.
Anton Bannov
