Interial SmoothMotion enhances the frame rate of the video that you provided depending on your choosing. Interial currently allows you to do 2X or 4X enhancement which will significantly improve the frame rate of your video making it much smoother.

Hi everyone! I am the Maker of Interial, a video-enhancing AI. In this post, I would like to share some of the stories behind why I created this web application. It began from my love of technology specifically Artificial Intelligence and I started my journey on learning everything related to AI such as programming and web development several years ago. I have been watching videos since I was a kid and recently, I started to have a great interest in beautifully drawn animation. I felt like I want to contribute my skills to the animation industry and that's when I found a way that I can contribute. I found a solution that allows anyone to improve the frame rate of their videos by using AI. So, I decided to develop a web app that allows you to do just that from anywhere you want. You can do this from your smartphone if you wish to do so. Previously, video interpolation requires you to have a high-end device that has high graphical computing power. But with this web app, you can perform video interpolation without a high-end device since the server will do the heavy-lifting for you. Our product is currently available on Beta. I am actually considering to create an explanation video about the app. However, I have not been able to create one because I am focusing on improving the app at the moment. @edwinkys Cool idea! What are you plans with this going forward? For example, increasing the 10MB limit, allowing also remote URLs to be loaded, a pricing plan, etc.?

Very cool, @edwinkys. How does this work technically? Are you creating new frames in between existing frames?

@rrhoover Hi Ryan! Thank you so much for showing your interest in the product. The AI is creating a new transitioning frame between 2 existing frames. This results in a smoother video flow. If you are really interested in how it works, I really suggest reading more about the AI model on https://arxiv.org/abs/2011.06294v1. Unfortunately, the AI requires heavy graphical computing power and making it quite inaccessible for people without high-specs PC. So I decided to make a web app to make it fully accessible for everyone on any device including mobile device. I would be very grateful if you have feedback for the product so that we can build a product that will be useful to a lot of people in the future.

@9rantys Hi Grant. Thank you so much for showing your interest in what I'm building. I am currently a student and the product that I am building requires heavy computing power to run. The server requires a lot of money to run and that was why I usually turn it off at night since there is not much user. However, because of your interest, I will run the server again. I'm sorry for the inconvenience and please try the product and see if that's to your liking.

Very simple, very elegant, function really well and not complicated. I tried it with a short clip old anime and it takes roughly a minute to get my results back and it's just good. Really recommend this. try it yourself :)
