I mean, they're nice templates but there are so many other free options worth considering too such as the Litmus community ones https://litmus.com/community/tem...
Jan Klimo
@td_evans great point, I've been using these for a while now, couldn't be happier with the results
Dave Lilly
@janklimo @td_evans So the litmus templates are just as responsive and just as compatible with email clients and browsers as the ones being sold at htmlemail.io?
Jan Klimo
@davelilly @td_evans I haven't used htmlemail.io so it would be nice to hear @leemunroe's thoughts on this. But Litmus is in the business of having perfectly responsive and compatible emails, so their stuff is pretty bullet proof. I've been basing all my campaigns on this https://github.com/rodriguezcomm... which I believe is the foundation of all the other free variations at Litmus, never had any issues.
Dave Lilly
@janklimo @td_evans Cool. Thanks, Jan. I hope you don't mind my asking, are you gonna buy this set or just continue using the other free litmus templates?
Thomas Evans
@davelilly @janklimo Yes, the Litmus ones are all Litmus tested across pretty much all clients and are responsive. They're coded/designed by some of the team at Litmus, such as Kevin Mandeville. They link to the Litmus test once you click into the design.

Thanks for the hunt Kevin. Lee here, the maker of http://HTMLemail.io Developing HTML email is hard. It's old skool. Making sure emails are responsive across all the major clients and devices is even harder. I put together this bundle for startups and developers as it features the most common email templates you need for any app or service. Integrate these into your system then get back to the more interesting stuff like shipping product and taking over the world. Product Hunters can get 30% off with code ‘hunt30’ on checkout.

@leemunroe Hey Lee! A little late to this hunt, but thanks for all the free email content you've put out. It's been super helpful on many occasions. Happy to see you putting out even more products. 👍

@leemunroe I wished read this before bought it :(
Boris Gefter
@leemunroe I would get this in a heart beat if your templates had schema.org support for gmail. Heartbeat!
Lee Munroe
@boris_gefter Thanks Boris, good request. I've captured this here so I don't forget. I mentioned Gmail actions support in this blog post, which you might find useful. Is there a specific use case you had in mind?

Can I ask how you managed to get Apple Mail running on a Samsung Galaxy? ;)
Lee Munroe
@stinhambo Ha for the screenshot? You've a good eye for detail 😄 Here are the real Litmus test results for full disclosure https://litmus.com/checklist/ema...
Joshua Pinter
That invoice template, tho!
Azaz Qadir
@joshuapinter Looks good.
Adam Davies
I think I love you. I can already feel my email headaches flying away :-)

I am a big supporter of @getSendy and the only problem I have with the product is the lack of usable templates. @leemunroe you have my money. Thank you!
Loris Maz
Nice templates! At this price, I would love to see a template builder in your offer. Are your templates more compatible with email clients or different in any way from those ~$20, litmus tested, email templates + builder you can find on http://themeforest.net ?
Lee Munroe
@lorismaz Thanks Loris. No template builder but that's a nice feature request for a future iteration. What would you expect from such a feature? Compared to those on Theme Forest, it depends what bundle you're referring to. My experience with Theme Forest is they're not templates I would personally use in the final production version of my service. But that very much depends on the individual bundle.
Arun Agrahri
Nice! Looking forward to using it for Radium newsletter.
Vlad Pekh
Looks promising. I see a litmus test only for one simple template - "password reset". Do all templates have litmus tests? Thanks
Lee Munroe
@vlad_pekh Good point, I should add them all. Here are the Newsletter and Welcome Email test results.
Ytzvan Mastino
Just bought this and love it.
Lee Munroe
@datasince Awesome! Would love to see a preview if you have a screenshot available :)
Elizabeth
Okay... Is there some reason not to just use MailChimp or Campaign Monitor for this?
Lee Munroe
@elizabethhunker You could certainly. Actually I'd be curious to know what your experience is using their templates?
Lee Munroe
Update: Fixed a couple of bugs people pointed out for Gmail and updated the license for clarity. https://github.com/leemunroe/htm... Also, the Product Hunt discount code still stands. 30% off with code ‘hunt30’ on checkout.
Seth Goldstein
Nothing personal, but not worth $49
Maarten Belmans
@sethgoldstein Tell us what you think would be a good price :)
Mohammed Erraysy
I'm late to the party, but couldn't resist writing this comment as this product is dope, thanks guys.
Alex Ast
Yeah, it's an old school app :)
Dmytro
Let's say I have a list with 10 cards and I wanna send a personalized email for an every user. Is it possible to create partial template and populate it with real data?
Lee Munroe
@unforbiddenyet Absolutely. How you do that exactly would depend on which email service provider you use to send the emails. But it would be something like create new template, paste in the code, inject personalized variables (or mail merge tags) where you want the users info to go. Happy to discuss in more detail hello@htmlemail.io
Dmytro
@leemunroe @htmlemail ok, got it. Thanks!
Vincent Breslin
Extremely handy @leemunroe. I'll get sorted with these in the next few weeks. Cheers!
Lee Munroe
@breslin Awesome, thanks Vincent
Liat Mordechay
Mic needed!!! Going to test it out. Do you provide a builder?
Lee Munroe
@liatmord Hey Liat, no builder but nice suggestion. What would you expect from such a feature? And what ESP are you using for your emails?
Brian J King
Nice, good job. Just a bit too expensive IMHO.
Lee Munroe
@brianjking Thanks Brian. Here's a free basic template I've open sourced too https://github.com/leemunroe/res...
