HillyDilly for iOS - The world’s best music, updated daily

Hey guys, I'm Chad, the founder and president of Hillydilly. I'd like to take this opportunity here to give you all insight into the site and apps and also answer the top question we get from people interested in them all. It is, admittedly, a good one, and it definitely deserves to be addressed. While minding the fact that your favorite service may not be listed here, that question often reads as follows: Why do I want to choose Hillydilly over Spotify, Apple Music, or any other music blog, streaming site, or music curation system out? Luckily for you, we're able to say why. From our first day of operation eight years ago, we've only been about pushing the absolute best music out. Every single day of the year, we sift through countless songs and cover not only the best new music out of the mainstream, but all kinds of awesome, undiscovered tunes as well. We love to give light to all artists equally, and we know that there's an infinite demand for truly new music to hear. On streaming sites such as Spotify and Apple Music, there are all kinds of music to get into and enjoy, but that in itself actually presents a problem, and that's not knowing where to start. What we try to do at Hillydilly is offer an unprecedented and truly manageable way of digesting all of that music out. It's a strenuous task, but we believe that through our new music feed, our up-to-the-minute charts, and our hand-curated playlists, we're able to cut the fat the internet presents. We've been able to gain an industry-wide reputation over the years for discovering and covering only the most promising new tracks out, and, chances are high that if you work at a label, as a manager, a public relations person, agent, or on one of the aforementioned sites, you'll venture quite frequently to us to find the next big, unique-sounding thing. HD is one of the absolute best music discovery portals, hands down. Been cool to watch the site grow over the years.

A year later and HillyDilly for iOS is finally out! Hooray!

I love music discovery that is essentially done for me... I am terrible at taking it on myself. Which is why I recently really took a shine to Bon Entendeur I highly recommend it - The playlists are made by French celebs... FYI they also have an iOS app Aaaaaaaanyway... When I am not Frenching it up, I will be sure to have a play around with HillyDilly. Downloading it now :) @chadhillydilly - can you shed some light on this? How has the Android app been over the last year and why now iOS?
