Once I started using Google Maps more for planning my cycling and motorbike routes, I encountered some issues and limitations. I solved them by creating this free extension, which adds essential features to Google Maps. Now I want to share it with everyone who uses Google Maps for planning longer routes and has faced the same issues.

@sergey_cardinal Awesome extension! Solving common pain points for long-trip travelers using Google Maps is a game-changer. The optimization for multiple destinations is a standout feature—perfect for cyclists and motorbike enthusiasts. Great work on making route planning smarter and more efficient!

@m_s_sulthan Thx for the appreciation. It's nice to know that it's not my unique use case and somebody can also benefit from my solution :)

Always found it a nightmare not being able to do this - Makes so much sense as the scope for what we can do with Google Maps etc. is ever increasing - Right place to be as far as I'm concerned...Literally use it everyday :))

Today I'm rolling out a new experimental feature that makes overcoming "10 stops" limit even easier. Don't need to stash/un-stash destinations, just keep adding them as usual :)

So so tired of trying to work around route planning limitations in Google Maps, especially when I need to export a Gpx! Look forward to trying it out!

@chris_mottes Thx! To be honest there is at least one more product that can export gpx from google maps (https://mapstogpx.com/), the difference is: 1. the extension doesn't send your route to any 3rd party servers, it's all done in your browser 2. for the same route my implementation has better precision with 3x smaller gpx file size (your gpx device/app will say "thank you" for this)
