Do you think platforms like Upwork and Fiverr have a chance to survive under the influence of AI?
Most of the services we used to order from these platforms were voiceovers or UGC videos.
But now, with AI, it’s cheaper for us to generate something synthetically. If other companies think similarly, will freelancers on these platforms have any jobs left?
What is your forecast for sellers on this platform, and also the future of the platform itself?
My reckon is that platforms will survive but traditional creators will have hard times and the sctructure of offerec work will change. E.g. instead of writers there will be AI consultants or similar.
But would like to hear the opinion of someone else. :)
