Enter your X/Twitter username, and our AI will analyze your Twitter profile to tell you if you’re in Founder Mode or Manager Mode. We got this idea from Paul Graham’s “Founder Mode” blog. Try it with your profile for free!
I love it when makers build products at the intersection of technology and fun. Also who doesn't want to know whether they are in Founder Mode or not 😂
Let AI roast you and say good and mean things 🤣
If you have to say nice things to Ishan, he will be here in comments 😃
👋 Hey folks! We're super excited about our first-ever launch on Product Hunt!
I recently read Paul Graham's blog on "Founder Mode" and loved it.
🚀 So, we built a fun AI app that analyzes your Twitter profile to tell you if you're in Founder Mode or Manager Mode.
Just enter your Twitter username, and you'll get instant results.
🤯 We launched the tool on Twitter yesterday, and it went a little viral!
Check out the tweet here: https://x.com/TheIshanGoswami/st...
I built this with my friend @nihal_goyal
❤️ We'd love for you to try it out and share your thoughts in the comments below!
@nihal_goyal@theishangoswami Very interesting tool. I found myself in founder mode, haha. A small suggestion: you could introduce the difference between founder mode and manager mode on the webpage, otherwise new users may find it difficult to understand these two concepts :)
@loggerhead Great suggestion! We will add it in the final description which the user gets as the output.
And thank you so much for trying it out.
Also, all the very best on your upcoming launch.
@nihal_goyal@theishangoswami Hey Ishan, this is such a fun and creative tool! I love how it uses AI for a lighthearted analysis of Twitter profiles. One suggestion would be to increase interaction and viral potential by including more social media sharing options. Congratulations on the launch, and best of luck!
@danielsinewe Thanks a ton! Also, yeah the website they built was pretty cool!
Fun fact, I was at that company for a month and I was the one who built the version 1 of that app haha.
But they definitely did an amazing job on remaking and launching it 🔥
Hey Ishan,
How accurate is the AI analysis? Have you done any validation to see how well it matches up with founders' self-assessments? It would be fascinating to see some stats on that.
Congrats on the launch!
@kyrylosilin Great question! We fetch the person’s Twitter name, username, and bio, and AI generates a response based on that.
To be very honest, this is a fun tool for us, and we have biased it a little bit towards giving people founder mode - to make them smile.
Thank you so much for your feedback.
Lets go I am in founder mode. I got this response This guy, he's so caught up in the hustle, he's probably wearing his sweatpants to every meeting, because who needs structure when you're building the future, right? He's like a one-man show, a one-man army, a one-man...
I think this application needs to add some dimensional indicators to determine founders and managers. Some people may be in between the two, some may be more like managers, and some may be more like founders.@theishangoswami
@abraham_zeng True that! Many people are in between the Founder Mode and the Manager Mode and need nuance.
But to keep it simple and close to the original source material (Paul Graham’s Blog) we have only kept these two categories.
And thank you so much for your thoughts.
Cool idea. Just a suggestion, since many of us are not very active on X, I think analyzing LinkedIn accounts would be a better idea. Congratulations on the launch.
Haha, very entertaining. Reminds me of those "ask AI to roast your ig feed" things. It would be cool if you expanded to various platforms, and eventually there was like a "jokes" mode and a "serious" mode where it gave you actionable advice to be like... more founder, or more manager, or whatever you want to portray.
