Hello Product Hunt, I had 2 days off, I wanted to leave town, something new, didn't matter where, just away. Guess what, you can't just ask Expedia to give all destinations available when you want to leave Tuesday, and return Wednesday. So I build a search engine myself, to find destinations when I want to leave on Tuesday, and come back on Wednesday! Flight data is expensive, so for now only 3 origins available: Bangkok, Lisbon, Austin. Hoping to find a way to build this for all airports globally, or convince a low-cost airline to let me build this for them :) Note: I realise in an era of climate change flying for the purpose of flying isn't very eco-conscious.

Great job on the launch of this product! It's a great way to give people the opportunity to explore new places.

@ayesha_awan1 Thanks, thumbs up for non-mainstream destinations :D !

Finally, a search engine that understands the wanderlust in our souls! 🌍✈️ Your tool to find destinations based on specific travel dates is a game-changer. It's incredible how you took matters into your own hands to solve a common traveler's dilemma. As for the climate change aspect, it's always important to be mindful, and perhaps in the future, there could be ways to incorporate eco-conscious travel options. Wishing you the best on your journey to expand this to airports worldwide!

@whiteedonna Thanks, I hope I can use great feedback like this to get access to payable data from the airlines or aggregators!

promising idea! definitely solves an existing pain :) Good luck with the launch (and getting the airline deal ☺️)

@angelaguedes Thanks a lot. I always wondered if I was the only one with this pain, I guess that makes 2 of us already :)

Congratulations on the PH launch! This looks clean and easy to use.

@hayr_hotoca thanks for the feedback, I don't think it will get a UI award, but I try my best with my limited frontend skills :)

Interesting tool, Joris! I was looking for something like this for a while. Waiting for you to add London! Also, I had no idea that flights data is expensive. Is it expensive to buy from the data aggregators? Can you fetch it directly from the airline website?
Joris Falter
@critic_rwps Thanks for the feedback! If this takes off I'll add London next! I have to buy data from 3rd party aggregators like FlightAware or Amadeus or others, it's a very closed ecosystem. I'm also launching to try to figure out better solutions I might not be aware off. Even airlines don't have a functionality to look for any all flights on a given day. You always have to enter a destination. That's why I think this would be a great new feature for low cost airlines :)
Manuel Jenni
Cool, will be following this! Any way to see the price as well?
Joris Falter
@manueljenni Not yet, but if I can get better data access, this is the first thing I add!
Frida
Great for traveling in a hurry! But I think it would be more useful if clicking on a flight takes me to the booking page.
Joris Falter
@frida_lee Definitely, would love to build this, but I don't have this access (yet!!!)

it's really cool, sometimes I also feel the same for going some random but good places. One suggestions also add a feature of adding journey mate. So that those who are going there can send request for it. waiting for it to over Indian airlines.
Joris Falter
@ajay_kumar_yadav4 Thanks for the feedback, let me look into some options to add this!

Cool idea! I've found myself with wanderlust on occasional weekends and it was so difficult to find flights without a specific destination. I think the only missing piece for me would be price, or a link to book (maybe you could do commissions?) so I wouldn't need to look each one up separately.
Joris Falter
@evan_harris5 Thanks for the feedback! At the moment this data is quite difficult to obtain, even this data is via a backdoor ;) so I'm trying to gauge the interest, and then I would love to build the price and booking part.
