What do I think ? Well, I think spending $50 blindly on the promise of the site owner, is unwise. You should make a free tier good for, say 6 months, to show people what they will get for their money. For example, if all deals I am going to get at LAX is to and from Las Vegas, it is not worth that $50 for me.
Yikes, *tons* of red flags:
- It's a new, very unpolished service, yet on the home page they claim "128,000 Customers Can't Be Wrong."
- The airport search doesn't take airport codes.
- The public facing pages are replete with grammatical errors.
- The "Fare Alerts vs. [Competitor]" pages say they support "Domestic & International Airports" (assume they mean "flights" not "airports"), and yet on the front page they say "Only work with International Flights Price Drop Alerts"
- The "Term & Condition" page is a 404, as is the Privacy Policy.
- etc, etc, etc.
Caveat emptor.
@ty_downs1 Yeah. I know that launches get tons of these spammy "Congrats on the launch" comments, but still disappointing that a scam like this can get upvoted into visibility on Product Hunt. Hopefully folks who ended up giving them money are able to do chargebacks.
@denis_stefanides the account creation process is from landing page, from homepage you will need to select your airport and then it will ask for you email, after email it will redirect you to subscription page, and then you would be able to logged in after subscription, the selection of airport looks fine
Love the idea. I can’t really use the site on Brave browser on iPad by the way.
Would be cool if you could set filters to specific airlines too if you’re loyal to one (it might do this but because I can’t access, I am unsure)
@usama_noman Clients like me who typically travels with the whole fam would love not to miss on getting such great deals like this! Rooting for your success! 🤩
How do we get your team to respond to emails? Your system isn't recognizing my purchase of an account (probably because you payment system allowed me to pay without creating an account).
