I'm Tom, COO at EmailOctopus. We're very excited to finally be launching on Product Hunt today.
EmailOctopus was started six years ago, so many of you may already be familiar with the product. But over those six years we've vastly improved upon what was originally released, with a focus on making EmailOctopus the simplest, and most affordable, email marketing platform around.
We're particularly proud of how people can sign up and send their campaigns or newsletters within minutes. No need to connect to 3rd party tools – simply upload your list, create your campaign (or upload your HTML) and away you go. We've really focussed on stripping back the excess bloat of other platforms, while retaining the essential features needed by even the most advanced of email marketers. And all at a price that makes email marketing more accessible than ever.
Over the coming months we've got a number of new features planned, including more advanced automation and native pop-up forms for turning more website visitors into subscribers.
It's always a debate when to launch on Product Hunt and we've put it off for so long – but with our recent rebrand, the addition of advanced segmentation, and some amazing new templates, now felt like the perfect time.
We're here all day for any questions, whether it's about the product or the business!
@tanya_kurkova Much simpler, much easier to use, no shouting at the MailChimp campaign or settings pages any more because it's too bloated, the legacy terms don't make sense, or doing what should be simple is difficult or convoluted!
@td_evans EmailOctopus branding and logo look really bold. I love smooth organic illustrations and coloring. The product with its user segments and email templates seems to be really useful.

Hi all, I’ve been a frequent user of EmailOctopus (I use them with my newsletter Tedium, located at https://tedium.co/, which has more than 12,000 subscribers) and have been regularly working with them since late 2016—when it was literally just two people on the team.
I figured out early that their value proposition was significantly better than MailChimp. It’s been impressive to see them grow, and it’s been great to grow with them, too.
I’m very happy to say that I’m a customer of theirs, and I look forward to using them in the years to come. Cheers!

Love Email Octopus. Simple, easy to use, yes, but also just a really effective platform. Been using it for a lot of years, but it’s been really fun to see more and more well-known brands switching over lately.
I have tested the EmailOctopus product and I really it is great product for marketers like me who needs email marketing. I switched from SendX to Emailoctopus when my mailing list grew and I think it was a good move for me, ofcourse money saving choice. What's more, Octopus is easy to use and their customer support is great. I’ve been using EmailOctopus for about two months now. There are a few things that I’ve seen improve since using it. With privacy focused features that I can control, I can honestly say this is the happiest I’ve been I’ve ever been with an email provider.

Been using EmailOctopus for months now, I'm totally happy with it! Does exactly what I want, without getting in the way. Switched over from mailchip (clearly, because of pricing :D). I send an email blast every 2 weeks or so, works like a charm. Highly recommend this!
