Thanks @abadesi for the hunt and hey PH! 👋 We’re so excited to share efitter, the sustainable sizing solution. As well as predicting your size, efitter also provides product insights into the type of materials used and how they may affect fit. At the moment we are live on ZARA and H&M’s womenswear ranges but watch this space! Why does it exist? 📏 Sizing is frustrating. efitter was born out of the frustration that @judithomoregie and I (and millions of other women) have when shopping online. We end up buying two of the same item in different sizes, only to return the one that doesn’t fit. 👖 Women’s fashion has a high returns rate. Of all women’s clothing that is returned, 61% is returned due to poor fit. 🌎 The environmental impact is huge. What’s worse is returned items often end up in landfill as they can’t be resold due to super-fast fashion cycles. In the US alone, 2.3 billion kg of unsold clothes goes to landfill annually. Rubbish sizing is killing the planet. This Earth Day we’re changing this by reducing the quantity of returned items that end up in landfill due to poor fit. HOW IT WORKS: 1. Download from the Chrome Web Store and sign in with your Google account. 2. Make sure your order confirmation emails are on that account (you can forward any receipts from other accounts). 3. Refresh your emails & start shopping. We're launching on ZARA and H&M. Simply open the efitter chatbot while you shop to learn more about your favourite products and find your perfect fit! NEXT STEPS: we’re gauging interest in other browsers and, if the demand is high enough, we’ll explore Firefox too. For now, our top priority is direct integration with brands that have sustainability at the heart of what they do. As two non-techie founders, this has been a real labour of love from @judithomoregie and I. We want efitter to be the best product possible so please get in touch with any comments or feedback on how it worked for you and how accurate the predictions were. For general questions about how it works, check out our FAQ. We hope you love it as much as we do!

@_bleggy_ @judithmoregie This is incredible, I'm rarely blown away. This is a multi-billion dollar problem that is directly impacting the profits and the opportunity of retail and e-commerce brands globally. In the 90s I worked with e-commerce companies to address this issue due to the output of this not simply being tied to a loss in revenue due to refunds, but also lower conversion rates across all industries, as I'm sure you guys have researched and this is a generation, that is demanding, this isn't an option to have a personalized efficient brand and experience. Anyone who says no to this future will simply not be a part of the landscape of tomorrow, and to see such brilliant and incredible founders working on something immensely valuable to anyone who is selling anything to a human that has to be worn ( and therefore has to be personalized ) I don't see how you aren't only a startup to watch in the next year to come, but a force to be reckoned with. I’m curious about what the gameplay is around the approach to the product, is the focus for the next few years to live inside the web browser on desktop, or is it to be a more ubiquitous platform play, with iOS, in particular, at least initially being an increased focus, of course, once your finished gathering data and learning more about the market conditions. I can’t stress if you are currently planning a move on mobile, this approach has to be planned well otherwise it leads to a market fit loss especially, even if you have a product fit offering, due to the competitive landscape in the “shopping” category and “lifestyle” and you’d need to formulate an initial ASO strategy and one that is far long term around building visibility directly tied to retail brands. So that ZARA or H&M among other brands your app is the #2 app that shows up globally. I’d love to connect with you both to talk more keep up the amazing work!

@appledev86 Thanks Nick! At the moment we have no plans to rollout as an app until we expand our product offering. Our focus for the time being is to collect enough data to identify our target consumers' other pain points, then solve them on a wider scale.

I online shop a lot - this just made my life so easy

@asadoo93 Thanks, Asad! We created this with women in mind but I'm so glad to see it works for you. What would you say is the most valuable feature?

One of the most stressful things about online shopping is discovering a new brand but having no idea what size to get. Has anyone ever successfully purchased jeans without trying them on? The environmental impact of shopping, and returning, makes me wish I could get my order right the first time, confident in knowing that what I've purchased is the right size, will fit, and I won't have to send it back. That's where efitter comes in! I've been following the product since it was still just in mock-up form - SUPER excited its live and kicking now. @_bleggy_ @judithmoregie any plans to make this an extension for other browsers like Firefox? 🤗
