Hey Product Hunt ๐Ÿ˜ธ ๐Ÿ‘‹ DomainPage.io started a little over a month ago as a static landing page to list our ever-growing domain portfolios, and then it quickly morphed into something more. My co-founder @rigoguillen & I - both domainers for 10+ years - have been adding features left and right over the last month and we're ready to show off our alpha launch. Our current feature set includes: ๐Ÿ‘‰ Domain sales & management dashboard ๐Ÿ‘‰ Auto-generated domain landing pages (Domain pages!) ๐Ÿ‘‰ Lead capture w/ email notifications & Google reCAPTCHA ๐Ÿ‘‰ Domain page & lead conversion metrics ๐Ÿ‘‰ Bulk upload all of your domains in minutes ๐Ÿ‘‰ Google Analytics integration ๐Ÿ‘‰ Custom domain page & portfolio logo ๐Ÿ‘‰ Domain marketplace placement ๐Ÿ‘‰ Purchase, finance, & lease payment links

@rigoguillen @timwheeler I wanted to us the LAUNCHDAY2021 50% promo but cant see how to enter it in. On checkout doesn't seem to be a code option. Can you help?
Jason Dainter
@rigoguillen @timwheeler I think I found the code box but it says "This code is valid, but your order doesn't qualify."
Jason Dainter
@rigoguillen @timwheeler Added my card, still says it doesnt qualify when I try to buy pro yearly. Given up. Email me on contact@jasondainter.com and I might retry. Thanks
Tim Wheeler
@jasondainter apologies! The promo code issue you encountered should be resolved. I've sent you an email as well.

Nice project! I got a question, can you add a custom domain to a domain portfolio?
Tim Wheeler
Thanks @eugenemarage! Could you give me an example of what you mean by custom domain in this case?
Sven "Locomotive"
@timwheeler I mean, how would appear the domain for your portfolio? Is it a subdomain of domainpage.io (like xyz.domainpage.io), or is it one of our domains that we link ourselves to the portfolio (ie for me: domains.kudzai96.com)? Maybe this information is on the website, I must have missed it.
Tim Wheeler
@eugenemarage Great question! Your portfolio would be a subdomain, such as xyz.domainpage.io, but we're working on implementing custom domains to provide a more "white-label", custom experience.
Sven "Locomotive"
@timwheeler Thanks! I'll consider using domainpage.io when I'll finally have time to put my domains on sale ๐Ÿ˜… do you support Porkbun as a registrar?
Tim Wheeler
@eugenemarage you can upload domains from any registrar, however, we're not currently integrated with Porkbun's API (though it's on the short list), only GoDaddy & NameCheap at the moment. With that said, any domains you upload to DomainPage automatically have a landing page & form generated so you can start collecting leads right away. We're here whenever you're ready. Thanks for checking us out!

@timwheeler I have a ton of domains on Godaddy. With your PRO Plan, can I integrate, and bulk import all of my domains for sale?
Tim Wheeler
@desi_saran1 we don't have bulk import via GoDaddy/NameCheap API at the moment, however you can bulk upload up to 1,000 domains at a time via CSV upload. The bulk upload is pretty straightforward though. Essentially you'd need to export a CSV from GoDaddy containing all of your domains, then copy the domains from GoDaddy's CSV to the DomainPage template CSV (found on the "Bulk Upload" page in the dashboard) then upload it. The only required field on our end is the "name" field, all others can be omitted. This can be done on both free & pro plans, however free plans are capped at 100 domains whereas pro plans can have up to 5k domains. Additionally, the pro plan will allow you to forward domains directly to dedicated domain landing pages in 1-click via the GoDaddy/NameCheap APIs (among other integrations). Bulk import is on the roadmap, though. Myself and @rigoguillen both have a lot of domains as well so we're actively working to cater our product to domain portfolios of all sizes. Thanks for reaching out! Happy to help with anything else. You can also email me directly anytime at tim@domainpage.io

@rigoguillen @domainpage @timwheeler Thanks guys I finally got around to adding my pages to the .csv file, I have about 64 domains... a few questions: Is there support from the product? I cannot find it, and figure only here I can contact you guys direct. What is the "domaincost" field, is that internal only? Does the expiration date matter? Do I need an Escrow.com account? How do I forward my domains from GoDaddy to your landing page, is the only way with the PRO account? If so, is the launchday 50% off code still valid? Last thing, the marketplace view is a little wonky, maybe it is my browser, but then I see multiple sites in "cards" or "tiles" I cannot see and of the domain names. Great job guys product is pretty cool so far.
Tim Wheeler
@rigoguillen @domainpage @desi_saran1 Hey Desi! Thanks for the questions and feedback. I have added a "Support" page from within the dashboard based on your comment. To answer your questions: - The "domainCost" field is internal only, and will eventually be used to provide profit/revenue metrics down the road. The only required field is the "name" column - The expiration date is currently just a read-only feature, but we're working on implementing a way to make the expiration dates more useful to our users from the UI. We're open to suggestions on this! - An Escrow.com account is not required in order to enable the integration for your landing pages, however, in order to receive funds from an Escrow.com transaction the will prompt you to sign up so you could create an account in advance if you wanted - To forward your GoDaddy domains, the best way at this time is to use our open source tool: https://github.com/domainpage/do.... We originally had this feature built into DomainPage, however, since GoDaddy, NameCheap, and other registrars do not allow users to limit their API key permissions, the consensus from the domain community was that they did not feel comfortable storing API keys to a third-party. So instead, we open-sourced the tool for people to use as they wish. If you wanted to give this a shot and needed some help just reach out to me directly (tim@domainpage.io) - The LAUNCHDAY2021 code is still valid! - Thanks for the feedback on the marketplace, I'll work on reproducing this issue. Could you let me know the browser and approximate screen size? I should be able to get that fixed up rather quickly. If you have any other questions or feedback you can reach out to us anytime! tim@domainpage.io & rigo@domainpage.io I really appreciate the questions and feedback!

@rigoguillen @domainpage @desi_saran1 One more thing! We're working on getting together a knowledge base on our site that has all of this information and more.

@rigoguillen @domainpage @timwheeler The support page is a great idea. I'll setup the Escrow.com account. I will definitely need help with the Godaddy forwarding, I looked at the link, I'm not a programmer, will email you. Otherwise, I would have to manually forward all links from the internal Godaddy dashboard? I use a Google Chrome Browser, I think 22 inch monitor.

Hey, that sounds super interesting. Love your approach to building a new domain marketplace focused on seller portfolios. Quite different than the approach of Brandpa/Brandbucket etc. Are the domains that are hosted on your page only sold through domainpage.io or can they be hosted on a different marketplace as well?
Rigoberto Guillen
@gmiadlich nice to meet you brother! We donโ€™t have any restrictions on placement. Our users can place their domains anywhere they choose. That is one direct difference between the brandable marketplaces that are out there. We encourage our users to place their brandable names with us if theyโ€™re not a fit elsewhere. I see you have your own branded portfolio. Your site is beautiful and what better way to support it with great names!! If youโ€™re interested in talking about a collaboration please feel free to contact Tim or I at rigo@domainpage.io, tim@domainpage.io

Tim Wheeler
Hi @rakesh_kumar_shakelli, thanks for the comment. We don't currently have SEO tools for domains but we're looking in to potential integrations. What type of SEO tools would you be most interested in for your domain portfolio?
