We're thrilled to introduce Daytona to the PH community! 🚀 Daytona is a modern solution to the age-old problem of setting up dev environments. It's open-source, easy to use, and works everywhere. We've all struggled with inconsistent setups, dependency issues, and the infamous "but it works on my machine!" problem. Daytona is our answer to these challenges—a tool that simplifies the entire process, allowing you to spin up a fully configured development environment with just a single command. Our journey in cloud development spans over 67 years of cumulative experience, and our founders are the same team that brought you Codeanywhere almost 15 years ago. With Daytona, we're taking a new step by embracing open source because we believe that great tools should serve and be shaped by the community. Let's make "Works on my machine" a thing of the past! Hey All, As the CEO and one of the cofounders of Daytona I am excited to step into this conversation. So feel free to ask me anything from dive deep questions, feedback, or ideas you might have about our tool. I have spent the larger portion of may carrier working on this problem, and the rest of the team is not to bad either, the 12 of us have a combined 67 years of experience working on solving the "Works on my machine" Daytona is designed to boost productivity by eliminating environment setup, letting you focus on coding. It provides a consistent experience across projects for solo developers, small teams, and large enterprises. We've designed our plugin architecture to be effortlessly extendable, allowing for the addition of new functionalities with ease. Moreover, we prioritize avoiding any form of vendor lock-in and provide support for all git providers and IDEs.
