Dailycrowds - Gamified AI social network for daily effective inspiration

Hello, Product Hunters, I am Paulo, a full-stack and solo developer of Dailycrowds (we’re a team of two people). Here I am, admittedly nervous, to present this prototype of my social network concept that I’ve been building for many years. It’s not finished, it’s not perfect, but I’ve decided to embrace the mantra: “better done than perfect.” So, what’s Dailycrowds? Dailycrowds aims to be a utility and inspiration social network designed to be the decision and discovery hub for everything people need daily. To achieve this, we rely on a powerful gamified collaboration engine where users help organize all the content. It also has a set of concepts and features that work together within the platform to generate all content without needing external sources. In simple terms, it’s a social network focused on utility and organizing everything around us. With this project, we don’t want to be “another social network,” nor do we want to compete with the existing ones. Our vision is a new approach: much more based on daily utility and effective inspiration. By effective inspiration, I mean everything you can do today, at home, or outside, with or without money. The goal is to create the best and fairest way to help people make daily life decisions. None of our algorithms are based on “controversy” – the viral posts will be those that genuinely inspire people. We prefer to have a community of 1 million inspired users rather than 10 million that… you know! To date, the entire project has been 100% bootstrapped, without any external investment, with a lot of effort to continue building this. It’s been a long and challenging journey, but we are proud of the progress we’ve made. I hope we can secure some help soon to complete all the ambitious plans we have for Dailycrowds. Yes, it also has a lot of technology: Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, and many things you love (check our webpage to learn more). But today, I prefer to focus on the concept and community building. As my penance, I must say that Dailycrowds is a network full of its own concepts (such as talent profiles linked to the user’s main profile, news reader, collections, clubs, collaboration game, awards, merits, etc.), which may cause some initial confusion. But once you start to understand these concepts, you realize that everything makes sense and nothing was added by chance. So, we’re very close to a final version, and I want to invite you all to take a look and stay with us in this final sprint. There’s a lot of work to do, but it will be easier with a bit of support from the community. I believe Dailycrowds is ready to create this solid community that can help it grow and become the different kind of social network we all deserve. Thank you for your attention. Congratulations on the launch. You have an interesting project, but the design is a bit outdated. Tighten up the design and you'll be just candy.
