Cool. Why four, not three or five?
Mark Hendriks
@vasgo That's a fair question 😀 I've seen many reductionist task list use three items or even less as a limit but I find this a little restrictive. Four is a nice balance. Giving you a little bit more space to work with while still keeping you focused. I admit it's no exact science. But hey, it's my product.

@workbymark that does make perfect sense)

Very supportive of reductionist daily task lists. Four might be a stretch, even for me. 😅

Hey! This is a very interesting concept! Love the idea. I am just starting my morning and already writed off my four tasks. It would be interesting to think the product as an installed app rather than a WebApp as I personally feel that it is easy for it to get lost among the amount of tabs open for work. Anyway, congrats! Loved it.

@ivan_achille Thanks! Great to hear Daily Four is working so well for you. Yes, ideally this should be an app that you can install (on multiple devices).

Hey Product Hunt 👋, Thanks for the hunt @chrismessina! Daily Four is all about getting the important things done with minimal stress. Long to-do lists can be overwhelming and full of low-priority tasks. With Daily Four you only get four todo's at any given time. Yes, that's it. Since you are only adding important items, periodically looking back on your completed todo's can be very motivating. You often underestimate what you get done over the long term. Daily is free and works right in your browser, no sign ups required. I also did a full write up on the Making of Daily Four. https://makingof.dailyfour.app

I like how simple the to-do list is and have added it to my bookmarks. I can imagine this as a Google Chrome extension. Maybe in the near future there will also be tips for more productivity, e.g. "Things that take less than 5 minutes should be done immediately" Greetings!
Mark Hendriks
@fresh_food Great! I totally agree with you. I think a full version of Daily Four, aside from multi-platform support, would include content or even some form of coaching to best apply this method.

Nice idea and (4) sounds about right in my experience!

Prioritization of tasks is important, otherwise, you'll burn out in 3 months. Nice idea and design, keep it up!

Love this so far!! It says "Data stored on your device." If I close page, will it clear out all of my history or reload based on cookies?
