Cymbal Universal Translator for Chrome - Listen to any song with your streaming subscription

Thanks so much for hunting us, Nick. A couple of months ago, we announced the Universal Player, a single player for every streaming subscription (v.1 - Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud, and Deezer). The Universal Player learns what streaming service you use, then always shows you the song or album you’re looking for, in the way you're already paying to listen. Today, we want to highlight an amazing new way to use the Universal Player: Our Chrome Extension. It makes a lot of the internet listenable, however you like to listen. Cymbal’s Chrome Extension makes the internet work best for your streaming subscription, whatever it is. It replaces streaming embeds on any page with the Universal Player, that way you never have to run into a song you can’t listen to, in full and monetized, on the streaming service you pay for. The goal is to make the whole internet listenable, no matter what streaming service you use! Streaming services should be like cellular providers – nobody should be able to stop you from calling a T-Mobile user from a Verizon phone, but right now you can't send a song from a Deezer user to an Apple Music user. That sucks! The future has to be listenable, and this player is pointing in the direction of how to get there.

Pros:

As a Spotify subscriber, this means I never have to run into an Apple Music player on some site I can't listen to.

Cons:

Not enough integrations as of yet – Once Amazon, Google Play Music, Tidal, and others make streaming APIs available, it'll be next-level.
