Code2.AI - Turn your ideas into code in minutes

Ever wanted to build a product but can't code? AI can now code anything you can explain, but it struggles to stay updated on your project. We compress your codebase into an AI-readable format, allowing for true collaboration and project-specific results.

Greetings, Product Hunt community! I'm excited to release Code2.AI, a project born from my desire to turn my Figma designs into real products. With the magical power of AI it could help me start a project but the problem was that I could never get the AI to fully understand my project and create new code for me as I progressed further. Code2.AI lets any AI grasp your entire codebase holistically, enabling it to provide relevant, project specific assistance that can be copied and pasted. If you have an idea, you can now build it. What do you think you can build? *** Get 20% off the Pro version with 'Hunt20' ***

@jvanetten hi, 2 questions. I want to build an app that use s several APIs, can i feed each one of the API documents for reference and build from there using prompts? and the other question is if there another promo code?

Recently, many natural language generation code products have been launched. What do you think the advantages of code2.ai will be? Then I noticed that it can still be quite troublesome to check the effects and debug after each change. I think you could optimize this aspect.

@an_zuo Great question! I've had positive experiences with products like Replit and Cursor, but they often assume a certain level of coding expertise. What sets Code2.AI apart is its ability to support anyone, even without coding knowledge. Working with something like Claude on one screen and VS code on the other. You can ask AI for normal explanations, like “Why does this code work like this?” or “What’s the reason behind this change?” It also allows anyone to instantly compress a codebase, get AI to understand it, and offer suggestions beyond "code"—ask it to help write a marketing campaign, a compelling landing page, or even a product hunt launch. By giving AI the context of your entire project, AI assists with every step, not just the development part. And lastly, its not another subscription. This is just a one-time payment so you can keep using the tools you love. If you manage to try it out, id love to hear what you think. Thanks for the comment.

@jvanetten I can understand the features you mentioned. I raised the above questions because I have recently seen better options. Replit and Cursor are indeed aimed at developers, so these two will not be your direct competitors. Your competitors might be V0 or bolt.new. You can take a look at the user experience of these two products. If you want users without coding knowledge to be able to use it, then you should further simplify the debugging experience. These are just some immature suggestions, and I hope they are helpful to you.

@an_zuo Thanks for the feedback, and you’ve raised some great points! Code2.AI was built with a different approach compared to traditional code editors like V0 or bolt.new. It’s not about creating yet another tool to learn. Instead, we focus on helping users leverage the AI models they already use without needing to learn new development skills. My goal is to simplify how AI interacts with your entire codebase by compressing it into a format that makes it easier for AI to process. This way, users can ask questions, make changes, or troubleshoot using natural language without relying on coding knowledge. It’s a project built out of my frustrations of being unable to turn my Figma prototypes into real functioning products. I built all of code2.ai using Claude, VS code, Figma and the compression tool with zero prior experience. Your suggestions aren't immature; they are very valuable, and I appreciate your taking the time to review my project. Thanks again for the great input!

Josh- I'm your target audience. I get it and understand the value. Before purchasing, how are the code files handled (thinking of security and privacy)? For example what if I accidentally include my file that has my API keys and other secrets? Not only do I want to make sure I’m not hanging these off to you, but i don’t want to upload that to an AI either. Ready to buy…
Josh van Etten
@michael_aaron2 This is an excellent question. We don't get access to any of your data, so your compressions are yours. If your API keys are in the zip, they will be compressed so if you reupload them to an AI, then it will have access to your API key. To be safe, I don't usually include my .env file when I reupload them to Claude. Hopefully that helps and puts your mind at ease. Let me know if you manage to try it out, id love to hear what you make.

@michael_aaron2 @jvanetten Thank you. I have had so many situations lately where your product will likely make the difference between me continuing onward or not. Really looking forward to using it (after purchasing it later today). Thank you!!

@michael_aaron2 Nice its so powerful being able to get AI to assist you at any stage of your project. Let me know how you get on and what you end up building. Id love to see it. Thanks again for the support!

@jvanetten I purchased but have no way to access the tool

Congrats on the launch of Code2.AI! Making coding accessible through AI is a groundbreaking step for non-developers. How impressive that it keeps up with an evolving codebase—this could revolutionize how we collaborate on projects!
Josh van Etten
@vietpham I agree, keeping the AI up to date and receiving real actionable code is so valuable for non-devs! Thanks for the support.

I think no-code folks would love using this
Josh van Etten
@shushantlakhyani Thankyou! Feel free to share it around. I really appreciate it.

Proof is in the pudding. What's the top 3 products that have been built with this tool?
Josh van Etten
@sentry_co I made everything you see in Code2.AI with a mixture of VS code, Claude and Code2.AI. So hopefully that shows some proof.

Hey @jvanetten I bought your product but have no way to login or use it (didn't receive any confirmation email, etc.) What's my next step?
Josh van Etten
@mikelaaron Im so sorry! there was some issues with the backend connection, I have fixed it and manually re-sent your email. Please reach out if its not working. Sorry! Thankyou for your patience and support. Hello@chimpbrain.studio
Michael Aaron
@jvanetten all good now- received the welcome email and link. thank you.

Code2.AI is an impressive solution for anyone looking to seamlessly translate their Figma designs into functional code. The ability for the AI to fully understand the entire codebase and provide relevant, project-specific assistance can significantly speed up the development process. This makes turning creative ideas into real products much more efficient and less frustrating. I’m excited to see how Code2.AI can help streamline my workflow and bring my projects to life with greater ease. Plus, the 20% off Pro version is a great way to get started. Great work!⬤

@jvanetten, I signed up for paid pro, but no link was sent to my email to complete onboarding.

@nelson82 Email me - hello@chimpbrain.studio - we can get it fixed
Jonathan
@jvanetten will email you.

Do better with this, please. I didn't expect that I'd still have to again and again prompt another AI... "Claude" before I could get the final effect I wanted. I believe that is elongating the whole process rather than making it shorter. Your USP here says "turn your ideas into code in minutes," not "Use my AI before you use Claude." I rather use Claude from the starting point then and not go around a detour first!
Josh van Etten
@emmanuel_odekunle Maybe my messaging could be clearer, but this product allows you to upload your progress to "Claude" and continue working, no matter what stage. It just allows Claude to give you better code suggestions and improvements.
