OK, it's basically "websites from google docs" or "google docs as CMS + hosting" Pricepoint seems high to me. Of course I have a google workspace account. $50 a month? ā€¦ I hope this product is aimed squarely at enterprise, cuz I'm not paying that.

@rowemore I agree. Even $25 a month for an individual user is ridiculous. I'm always gonna advocate for the freelancers/consultants out here that can't afford such outrageous pricing. For a product like this, I believe there should be a free tier for individuals as its true effectiveness will only be realized by teams working in enterprise settings. The developer would be wise to get some consultants on their side by letting them try out the product for free rather than trying to milk them for every last dollar.

@lsherman I kinda disagree with you. I am in favor of creators pricing high. ā€¦ but you have to bring the value up to the price-point.

@rowemore not to sound snarky but it's hard to imagine how an app of this type could ever be as valuable as they think it is. Far more feature-rich and complex apps charge much less. The pricing might make sense for an enterprise product, but not for something individuals would use.

@rowemore @lsherman The price point is high relative to other consumer-oriented products, but maybe not for organizations. I reviewed document management products that supported cloud-based storage and the cost was $50 to $150 per user per year.

Hey @chrismessina just a suggestion on the product, if user can add animation to the docs in their own knowledge base and then publish that with their users/team members that will look amazing :)

We've been beta users of Circular for Bluethumb and SmartrMail, and I'm a fan. Basically been looking for a way to get off Intercom, and their docs have been a sticking point. We already use Gsuite so Circular + Helpscout is the plan for us going forward šŸ™ŒšŸ»

Hi, cool product. Could you explain how it differs from using just using GDrive + Google Docs (without your platform). What features would I get that aren't present in Google?

I don't get it? Is it basically a hosted site for Google Docs? Notion can do the same thing for free.
