Would be great to see some examples before having to sign up :-)
@colinwinhall Definitely! Since the "templates" are extremely basic right now there isn't much to show off. But once that's cleaned up I'll make sure we have these showing up right off the bat :)

If you're seeing a high bounce rate on the landing page, you might want to consider the following : 1. There are some very important unanswered questions: a. How much does it cost? b. Is this a hosted solution? c. How does this differentiate from other options (WP, Squarespace for hosted; Gatsby, Hugo for generated). 2. Move the demo up. If you have a sandbox, allow for an autogen alias to user instead of trying to collect user data (email, name, etc) right off the bat. Folks are well aware of email hoovers and will opt-out or worse give you bad data rather than risk having the inbox bombarded with even more garbage. You're off to a good start!
@alex_wykoff Thanks for the great tips Alex! All very important items to clear up on our landing pages. Regarding the demo you're right and we do have plans for a trial without full user registration 👍

Great Job, I have one little suggestion from a technical point of view. The site is not optimized for production. I see this message on the browser console: "You are running Vue in development mode. Make sure to turn on production mode when deploying for production."
@st3c Thanks for the heads up and taking a look! Right, we have a lot to do in the way of optimization and general development clean up :)
Registration is now open to allow some testing. Still so much to do :)

Do not understand why to show off a project not even half done??? Explains a lot on the author's personality.
@thomas_milotti The best way to improve and get feedback on a project is to share it early. I would hope it reflects on my personality that I'm interested in what users would want.

Good job on creating something like this for beginner. I wonder when you will have a bunch of things on the site ready to use. Right now I can just add text and text and text. There is no way to add images, manage forms, create columns on the home page. I was excited to see if this was all already in there. Looking forward to the day when you have all of this done and will give it another shot, then!

MANY issues I am having: 1. Secondary Menus are confusing [in function and not showing up on my site.] 2. Linking in secondary menu is not functioning correctly. [aka not showing up] 3. Idea: Should be able to make a big folder/dropdown arrow for like minded items in menus. Like many archives have. I'd like to see what it looks like when it is updated more as well ^-^.

How different is it from other options like wp?
@manoj_manu07 The goal with Cantrip is to be a website builder as simple as possible to use, offering simplicity at the cost of potentially less customization features. but letting the website owner to focus almost entirely on just the content, allowing the display of the website to be handled by the selected theme. The target audience here would be a less-technical business owner who may not need or want the advanced layout customization something like Wix or hosted Wordpress would provide. I wrote a little bit about it a while back when I started working on the project: https://medium.com/cantrip/the-c...

Easier than carrd.co?
@coop__soup carrd.co looks really nice and simple. Cantrip will be multi-page so users will have plenty of options to decide between both :)
