My good friend Muf and I decided to develop this app because we spent so much time planning vacations, scouring the internet for things to do - and getting blanket tourist recommendations most places we looked. On top of that we planned in messy spreadsheets to only have all our hard work goto waste after we returned from our travels. Our vision for this project would be to have a central and standardized platform you can plan your adventures in that then begins to understand who you are, what experiences you are interested in, and finds people similar to you by way of machine learning and AI to then serve up future personalized experiences you may like while planning your future experiences. Think, Spotify for experience planning. This is our MVP, so we are looking for constructive feedback and ideas on how we can push forward in changing the way we plan experiences!
Congrats on the launch! I wonder what’s the story behind the product name brb? I love planning trips with my friends but yes it’s quite a hassle sometimes— we use Notion, Google Maps, Google Calendar, and etc. Excited to try this one out!

Perfect timing! I'm currently planning a trip, so I decided to give BRB a shot :)
Feedback:
- The design is very intuitive. Simple and straightforward.
- I like the AI functionality to organize the day, pretty cool!
For improvement:
- When signing up, I clicked "Sign up" , entered my information + login creds and then I was redirected to another signup page asking for the same information, instead of the "Verify your email" page.
Product Enhancement:
- Besides activities, it would be good if you were able to add actions (i.e. Driving from point A to point B, Dinner Reservations, Hotel Check-in...) into the Itinerary.
- I have a trip visiting 3 different states next week. It would be cool if different cities could be added to one itinerary.
- Add "My Itineraries" to the top bar menu, or under the avatar's profile.
- Add an option to invite new users to the platform or share a public link. Right now you can only share the itinerary with existing users.

brb is a GAME CHANGER. I've used it to plan a few personal trips, as well as a business retreat for one of my clients. My client even commented on how user-friendly it was for her! (She's 67) You'll never go back to a spreadsheet again. 🚀💃🏼
