Looks nice, I currently use Invoice Ninja and think I'll stick there since I know it's been around for a while and isn't going anywhere.

@brianjking Challenge accepted! :)

This looks really nice and clean... there are a fair few free invoice generators out there and Im happy with what I currently use, but this may just make me try it out :)

Create beautiful invoices on the go & have them sent out for payment immediately.

How they going to make money?

@fxcutz Don't you know the goal these days is to NOT turn a profit? ;)

Great, I love it! :) But it would be nice if we could edit the fields name (like Invoice # - Issue date, etc.) for non-English companies. I'm from Belgium and I'd love to use Billdogg for my customers!

@alessiofancello Thanks for the feedback. We are currently looking into how to best introduce translations. :)

@kaupoh Thanks! I'll keep an eye on it :)

+1 for the name! :)

How does it differentiate from FreshBooks, Zoho Invoice, Zipbooks etc?

This seems interesting. I use paypal to generate my invoices. Is there a good reason to try this out?

Hey Eric, can you tell me a little more about the problem you're solving? Are you focused on the document/pdf that is sent to the client? In my experience running my own businesses or accounting for others, the challenges with invoicing tend to be: connecting to the general ledger, connecting to bank data, making sure invoice data goes to accounting software, making sure clients can click to pay directly on the invoice, invoicing in different currencies and having the conversion reflected on invoices. It's usually part of the accounting process, so I'm curious what the benefit of separating it would be.

Competitive niche but worth a try. :)

Love it but would like more customization options for the invoices!

I'd love to be able to customize the invoice a tiny bit (for example, I don't like the small size of the logo and the fact it's on the bottom, even though it appears on top in the editing screen). One more request is the ability to use the same notes / footer on every invoice (for bank info and the like), now I have to keep my bank info in a separate place and copy paste it each time I make an invoice.

With that said, this software is free, reliable and looks good so the shortcomings really are forgivable. Would still be nice if it got improved though :) thanks for making this!

Pros:

Looks great, simple free, easy to use, no bugs, can see client totals, can track status of invoices (draft, sent, paid, overdue)

Cons:

No estimates, no way to save invoice notes in order to use the same note every time (I put bank info there), no chstomizatiom
