Beezee - Super minimalistic to-do app

Beezee allows you to:

— add and schedule your to-dos

— delete them by swiping right or left

— change the order of your to-dos

And of course, it has dark mode. No ads, or any other unnecessary distractions.

Beezee is based on the open source app called Minimal: github.com/avjinder/Minimal-Todo

Beezee is licensed under the MIT License

You should definitely update the device in your screenshots! I thought I was looking at an old app, not a new one.

Hey @markvosman can you tell me why ppl would use beezee over established brands such as Todoist?
Mark Vosman
@johndesk27 You see, the thing is that I'm not even trying to build a product that would compete with Todoist. I've just built a little app mostly for myself and thought that maybe it would be useful for some other people. In fact, I think that most people would actually prefer Todoist over my app. And that's totally fine with me. I'm not trying to win over millions of Todoist users. Anyway, hundreds of people are already using my app and, judging by their reviews, I can tell that they are happy with the app. And that's enough for me. Cheers!

Hey @markvosmann, What's your favorite aspect of this app?
Mark Vosman
@jacqvon Umm... Its simplicity, I guess.

Thanks for taking the time to get back to me Mark much appreciated and I totally get that, it is a cool app for the minimalists no question. 👍

What features does this have that Minimal-Todo doesn't have? Or did you just find open source code, change the design and try to sell it?
Mark Vosman
@andsnw Yes, comparing to Minimal, the biggest difference is design (at the moment). Although, there are some differences in the way notifications work. Also, in Minimal, you can only add one-line tasks. In Beezee, you can make relatively big notes (up to 10 lines). I will add a couple of other features later. Answering your second question, I can tell you that Minimal is licenced under the MIT license, and according to that license, I can use it for commercial purposes *as well* if I release Beezee under the same licence. Which I did, and now Beezee is open source as well: github.com/markvosmann/beezee

Unquestionably the best to-do app for Android if you're looking for simplicity and efficiency. Also, it has a dark mode, which looks awesome. Really enjoying it.

Pros:

Exceptional design, fast, lightweight, and intuitive.

Cons:

No option to create multiple lists.
